This is interesting. Huge tech and social media companies are basically the corporate arm of the Democratic Party, so it's good to see some internal power struggles like this.

Its a social media app. That’s literally what it does. It collects user data. Facebook, Insta, Twitter, others do the same. We chat is a messaging app with no evidence backing that it is a spy tool. It is a messaging app. Also used for payment. ZTE is the same situation as Huawei. 5G is a network type. It is better than 4G in all aspects once don’t properly. America’s “5G” is super unstable and unreliable compared to China’s 5G, Korea’s 5G, even.

I welcome this change. Variety brings about new innovations and stronger competition. These companies have been trying to become the be all end all in their fields and this has been a long time coming.

I don't support those. But this is totally different, they are trying to stop companies from monopolising the market and preventing any competition to their companies. It's gd for businesses and consumers as a whole.

It will never happen, who spends the most on lobbying in the USA ? Yep, the same 4 companies, just imagine how much data those firms hold on people, especially politicos and others, threaten their profits or existence and some will use that data.
Money and greed rule in looney lah lah land, not politicos.

I love how the US want to put sanctions on France for the GAFA taxe, but they themselves accuse the GAFA of the same things which are the reasons why the GAFA taxe is for.

The bigger and wealthier some people or companies are, the bigger and wealthier they want to be. Is the world we live in today.
You want to do something? Delete all your accounts and buy a normal phone. But who can really live like this nowadays?
These companies are part of our lives. We can accept it, or do like I said earlier in my comment. There is no middle ground in here, and it will never be.

1. All apps should not require GMS to work
2. All apps should have other payment options so they wont have to make 2 versions of each app for the love of god this is so lame!
3. Amazon & Huawei can then actually make their competing app stores work.
