Ov48C - Mi10 Ultra. The top camera in DXOMark rankings. Go and see how is performing.

Oppaii, 08 Oct 2020Barely hear this Omnivision, what phones does have this sensor?Apple used to use almost exclusively Omnivision sensors. Apple moved on to Sony sensors now, I believe. You can search Google "Iphone Omnivision"

SuuperBaka, 09 Oct 2020They don't make telephoto sensors for phones, and you ... moreThis is Sony problem anyway. They have picked up the worst telephoto as well as front camera sensor then. Just have a good look at the latest iPhone 11 Pro, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra or Huawei P40 Pro telephoto and selfie photos - million times better that Xperia 1 II does.

Phones from samsung, apple and google give photos that look like edited by someone without any idea of what is doing. Even raw of these phones are heavily processed.

No jpeg of any cam gives you yellow faces, deep blacks, deep blue skies, purple night sky (night modes) , foreground brighter than reality nor make scene looks like plastic or wax.

Poor noise performance? RX100 can easily handle iso1600.
Phones are already garbage if iso pass 400.

BTW, there are cameras capable of muilti frame. Nobody uses because photos end up artificial.

Any sensor can be used for telephoto.
They just do not have one with same specs sold by samsung.
Sony has many 8MP 1/4" , but is using Samsung.
Some gossips say it is part of deal for oled.

Anonymous, 08 Oct 2020Light per area is useless. Overall area is much larger. ... moreI didn't write light per area, I wrote light per time. The CM1 captures less light per time than the phones I have mentioned and it even doesn't have OIS. Its hardware would make phone cameras worse, not better.

The noise performance of a Rx100 is quite poor by the way. The first Rx100 has an old sensor and all Rx100 cameras can not combine multiple frames in a smart way. Some people simply look at specs, but they don't know what the specs really mean and when it comes to unedited wide angle jpgs a Rx100 (or full frame cameras) have no chance when compared with a 5 year old Google Nexus 5x in Google's HDR+ mode, apart from the resolution.
