Too bad people feels the need to lie just to make a point...
But its chemistry and proof that at the same resolution at 120hz you lose battery , hours
Of course if you use 120hz wathing a movie or writing mails for hours and there is no motions UI...than of course the battery life is the same
But otherwise...its chemistry, and physics

The S10e was wonderful - I owned one and sadly sold it because I was trapped by the idea that a bigger screen is better. My fault, I learned later from my experience. It all depends on everyones individual needs and preferable sizes. It's just disappointng to not have the choice. So, I'm very excited now if Apples Mini is changing something in the android-world, my prefered eco-system. Though I'm not a fan of Apple, I have to admit that they make the right step: they give the choice. Cudos for that. And it will pay out for them. And now, who's next? Samsung? Are you listening?

If that is not good battery life, I don't know what is.
It also scored around 103hrs in Gsmarena battery endurance rating at 120hz and 109hrs at 60hz. Pretty sure no one is dialing back to 60hz with those scores.
I personally use it at 1080p@120Hz and get 8.5-9hr SOT as there isn't a huge difference between 1080p+ & QHD+ on a sub 7 inch screen.

Once you go to 120hz, there is no going back to pedestrian 60hz ever again.

So again, 120hz it consumes more battery, but using it under fullHD is kind of compromised
If you root a samsung and block the 120hz with QHD, the battery usage is down by around 2.2 hours

Apple's strategy now, in 2013 has been to maximize revenue and assets primarily by increasing sales and catering to an existing demand and not by making capital expenditures. It has, however not shifted focus from leading by innovation and is constantly launching new features in its iPhone and iPad.

Samsung Galaxy s1 was already 4 inch with s2 being 4.3 inch.
S3 was 4.8 inches while iPhone users were begging for big screen.

5w 'lightning' (LOL) port = better
NO 3.5mm jack = better
Handicapped bluetooth = better
No expandable slot = better
64GB base storage for 700$ = better (I only consider regular 12 as the base)
iOS releases full of fatal bugs (battery, restart, etc) = better
Now I now why Apple could sell millions of iphones: there are MILLIONS of S-h-e-e-p-s with loose screws worship them. No wonder they could easily said "the best in universe" LOL

Apple is packing solid hardware in this and I expect the computational photography to be top notch.
It will sell well because it is a good, solid offering. I wish everyone else would move to secure face-unlock, I am starting to hate my Xiaomi's under the screen fingerprint scanner which works from time to time.

Your argument about 120hz consuming more battery has been debunked already.
These same phones had hardly 10hrs added to the endurance rating which is less than 10% extra juice when running at 60hz.

This is why Samsung didn't bother with ultra compact size as people preferred bigger phones.
Another reason why Xperia Z compact series was shut down.
Most people look at 6.1 inch screen size and think it's a big device without taking into consideration the overall footprint which is very compact.

Even less when I played with 120 Hz devices at my local dealer. It's not worth dropping 2 or more hours SOT.
