Had it for a month, regular use... screen starred going bonkers... then it would not stay on for more than a few seconds at a time.. tried to reset it and my phone could not find it. Now it can’t even charge and it looks like there is moisture under the sensor. In all fairness I did take it into the shower with me but I don’t take hot showers to the point where there is steam. Customer service wants me to make a video and send a screen shot of my original order with the order number and date... funny they didn’t include a date in the purchase order... what’s the point of an order number if it’s not tied to all that information?

They don't have replacement parts for sale or through support. I even contacted the original factory in china via alibaba.com

The watch bad has a plastic piece(a gps module) that breaks regularly and is required to connect the watch to the watch band. Once it breaks, it's a $300 paper weight since you can't even connect the watch band.

Support refuses to do anything about the problem.

Looks cool but it’s a real disaster. My three week old band broke while sleeping and their horrible customer “service” deemed it not a warranty item. I actually was able to super glue it back together and it still works. NEVER get more than 4 days battery. Total waste of money by way of Indiegogo but a really absurd expected retail price. You’ll never see it generally available but if you do, don’t even think of buying it.

Don't buy it, it got worse than the mi band. Inaccurate GPS, does not monitor sleep properly. It is not worth the price paid.

Avoid buying this watch at any cost. Broke down in a week. Customer service is nonexistent. They send you endless emails to deflect the problem. Poor Chinese product and a company that does not honor its warranty

Well i have had mine for about 3 months and there are definitely frustrations. The watch faces are just weird, and you cannot make it basic or something other than bright and colorful, unless you put it into battery saver mode, which turns off all of the functions. I really don't like the flashy colorful watch faces. And, the sleep monitoring didn't track my sleep for three nights this week. Happens quite a bit. Just seems glitchy and i am thinking about going back to the Fitbit HR. All the functions i need and not gaudy flashy looking. Overhyped...

WARNInG: Don't invest in an Amazfit X before you check the almost 5,000 complaints on their Indiegogo page. For almost $400, a smart watch should at least have reliable GPS and heart monitor.

Similar comment to others. Watch has great functions and looks cool. Problem is that they don't have any customer support and they don't honor their warranty. Watchband broke and it is not something you can fix (the short side of the band is attached and once broken, you can toss the whole thing). They said they don't warranty this... who breaks a watchband and then has to toss the whole thing? It's a design defect, plain and simple.

GDS Khera, 19 Oct 2020Looks & Sounds like a Gear Fit 2/Fit 2 Pro. The GPS tho... moreMy wife has a Gear Fit2 that she still uses daily. I always liked it but don't want to recharge so often (basically daily). Now I have the Amazfit X so I can compare. The X's screen is narrower and taller, I actually like the ratio of the Fit2 more as it's a bit easier to read notifications which is the main reason I want the watch for, but both are good in this regard. I have the X set to show the screen only when I squeeze the watch (not turn my wrist) or there's a notification, in this way it the watch barely uses any battery, I'll easily get five days before needing to recharge. HRM seems to work accurately for me, I also used it track an indoor bike workout for 90 minutes and that tracked pretty accurately (HR, time, and calories). I have yet to use the GPS function. Overall I'm quite happy with it for the Indiegogo pre-sale price, but would not buy it at the $300+ price they are asking now.

Mine has gone back on RMA and my call has been closed without action so suspect have lost my money. Product looks great but fundamentally fails to meet expectations (GPS is hopeless, battery life is way worse than expected and Huami's spec of what constitutes normal use is humorous... A fitness device based on 15mins of exercise daily!).

Response from Huami is non existent / laughable.

                      Very disappointed.

Stay far, far away from this watch. There is a reason Huami / Amazfit only released this on Indiegogo instead of through regular retail channels. They don't have to refund you for delivering a non-working product. The HR tracking is unreliable, often warning me that my HR is 178bpm and then 186bpm while my Polar watch shows 135bpm. It's garbage.

The GPS tracking is an absolute joke and adds distance to every single walk and run. Huami decided to build the GPS antenna into the band instead of the watch so when you wear it on your wrist it interferes with the GPS signal and renders it useless. This company has zero quality assurance. They release beta products and expect customers to debug it for them. Disgraceful!

If they sold this through regular retail stores, the number of returns would have been over 50% for sure (and I'm being generous).

I have it (and will sell it again). Well, with the Apple Watch, the running time is simply absolutely unacceptable. The X is optically really extraordinary and great in design. The X runs for me easily for 5 days without charging. So far so good. Why am I giving it back? The Zepp app is neither clear nor well structured and an absolute drain on the cell phone. You can bypass it (with notify and fitness) but still no. So a really nice gadget but without any real use

Do not buy it, the product is far from ready for mass market. It does not meet what it claims to be. Read the comments on the Indiegogo campaign which was first launched there for this product. Then you can decide whether this company deserves your hard earned money.

This kinda felt more like an explanation of their product page rather than a review. :/

$329, Are you kidding? Will wait for Nubia watch

Looks & Sounds like a Gear Fit 2/Fit 2 Pro. The GPS though is better on Fit 2 (I still have one). But the screen (with Autobrightness etc) looks to be better than Fit 2 on this one.

I have this watch and am extremely disappointed with it. The GPS rarely locks in without a 5 - 10 min wait (I have timed it). When the GPS does lock in it does not accurately measure any metrics. The heart rate monitor refuses to accurately measure heart rate while I am on my bike and I have tried adjusting my hand position but, if I cant maintain my normal position, what is the point? Metrics are meaningless if the watch fails at capturing any of the raw data. Bottom line, pretty watch, too bad it doesnt deliver.
