they should improve on the camera quality, theres simply no way a 20mp iphone takes good pics than a 64mp tecno phone

The display and the cameras are so good. Plus the MediaTek processor is going to enhance the performance really nicely

We all know that the camon 16 which as a mediatek G90T processor similar to the infinix zero 8 is good. But Tecno and infinix has to upgrade they shouldn't be using plastic rear and front cover they should upgrade to a Corning hot Gorilla screen 5 as front or something similar as far as am concerned infinix is stale similar to Tecno

The display will enhance the viewing experience of users to a huge extent and will be a plus as it will accommodate the mediatek powered games in a more suitable manner.

For example, MKBHD pointed out that the 2mp macro on a OnePlus phone was of lower quality than just shooting up close with the main camera. The money used for the extra cameras could be used for other things like software, battery, or display. Companies market "quad camera" like its a good thing but with phones at this price it isn't. People who buy budget just want functionality and reliability, not more gimmicks.

These phones are actually quite decent. I owned a Camon 9 before and it was quite the value for money. It also lasted more than 4 years. Got stolen from the guy I handed it down to. Most people on this forum won't know the brand but most people in Africa's larger economies do. Further, Transsion Holdings, parent company to Tecno, far outsells any other manufacturer in Africa. Something like 50% of the smartphone market if I'm not mistaken. This is the same response that met Xiaomi and Huawei when they went global. Even Samsung met some ridicule. I'm now using a Mi note 9 pro. My wife uses an iPhone, and I have an Xperia XZ1 that I don't use much but is still fully functional. Let's learn from history. Let's also learn that our biases are not necessarily based on deep knowledge.

" 2MP AI lens units " Pish posh. A single cam would have even looked clean and costed Rs 1000 less.
