I guess the same was, or is still available in the US too, as last time I read, the discount was being offered in US as well, on both, 20 and 20 Ultra

Am good with 60hz display. No problem there. However, removing the charging brick is completely unacceptable to me. But can someone use android charger with these? Maybe buy only cable?

With weak hardware of phones, video will look way inferior on bigger TVs.

Imagine the difference between a 7s3 ( 16 bit raw video 600Mbps) and phone (10 bit non-raw 100Mbps) ... It is sun versus flashlight.

SD865 can do HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision.

To use Dolby, they are paying royalties.
You do not when using HDR10+ or HLG.

You need screen with Dolby to play it properly and keep best quality.

TheLastOracle, 13 Oct 2020"The iPhone 12 Pro are the only phones on the market t... moreI am guessing Apple got the Dolby Vision certification to try and be the first Netflox certified phone for video. Though, technically any phone doing 10-bit and True Log should qualify. Which means No Phone. Not even the iPhone 12, right now.

"The iPhone 12 Pro are the only phones on the market to record Dolby Vision video. The faster chipset color-grades every frame of 10-bit video for best quality."

Not sure why they have 10-bit video if its Dolby Vision video (they could have shot RAW video, which the Dolby Vision standard is capable of). Maybe they want to say their 10-bit, which they finally have, is better than the other 10-bits around?

Hopefully some of these camera innovations we can see, noticeably.

I'd frankly not mind the presence of a notch on these phones, since this year's phones do pack a lot of exciting features, especially in the camera department and the screens are also LED across all models with Super Retina being standard, but the prices outside US are gonna be too much for any android user looking to switch to iOS and that'll keep me from getting it, as the Note 20 is just $870 here currently whereas the 12 Pro will be at least $1100 as they tend to be expensive outside their country
