Its disgusting the differnt tarrifs on the Iphone. In the UK u can get massive minutes, txts & downloads for ya money, same inGermany/Austria but when it comes to ireland we are fleeses on the taffifs, 45€ for 175 mins 100 txts and 1gb downloads!!! 18 month contract!!! Phone costing 399€ JOKE!!!!!!!!!!

hi there,
The biggest disadvantages of the iphone is that it does not have 3G nor sends MMS and cannot be personalised its also heavy,but it has the best touch screen.
Can anyone tell me why it cant receive anything via bluetooth?

Is this phone really that cool? When it hits Australia I think a lot of people will be disappointed.
•Poor camera (only 2MP, no auto focus or settings)
•No Xenon flash for camera
•No choice but to use iTunes to download and transfer etc
•No video recording
•Safari browser doesn't support Flash and Java
•Poor Bluetooth capabilities
•No Office documents editor
•No third party applications (although SDK announced March 08)
•Not 3G nor HSDPA
•Phone is "hard" locked to a network
•Settings cannot be personalised (no custom ringtones allowed)
•Messaging alerts and almost any other types of alerts are fixed
•Poor loudspeaker
•Phone book does not have letter-by-letter searching of your contacts
•SIM card contacts cannot be read (contacts must be manually stored into phone)
•No MMS (picture messaging)
•Poor SMS capabilities (cannot forward SMS, no group SMS etc)

the iphone!!!!! the interface rocks!!!! ok maybe no features for its price but using it something else too bad it costs so much

i'm from romania, i have a iphone 8GB since november 2007... and iphone should officialy launch in june 2008. how the hack you can't get one ?? it';s full of iphone's here on the black market, 400euro, and get one full onlocket 1.1.4 :D

I don't care I need contract as long as the darn iphone hits my country (within asia) lol! I just need the service center locally that is.
Man by the time iphone hit asia there'll be a lot more new phones. It'll gonna be a looooooong wait...

Yeah its true, except touch screen, there is nothing extra in iPhone. then why we pay more and getting less. N96/e90/N95 are much better than iPhone. N96 is coming is August 2008 so guys just wait for few months.

yes we can't compare iphone to phone cause it is a piece of junk, so we compare junk with iphone; lets see

iphone; coats a hell lot and noone knows when it will come

Every time an iphone junkie try to impress me with that crap, i took my 8gb n95 out of my pocket and they run like Dracula in front of a cross!!

hi
i agree to all the comments posted hear that says iphone as most crap features compared to other phone but. still i have used i phone even after missing so many features like a2dp which was the most im still phone rocks. now u will ask how its what no other phones got mac os i know its not same as macintosh leopard as its not computer but its the best user interface i have used.... still only if some features would have been there it would have been good.... now i dont have i phone because of my work reason and in india we have unlocked version so software upgrade is not possible (i did not mean impossible at all) but when it come to india with all the features in it like they are doing i might buy it agian.....

this is an apple product, why are you talking about other ugly products. if you need a higher resolution pictures, get a canon or nikon..
