Because iPhones are great? IOS ecosystem is best in the market, people want iOS. People value long support. When you want to upgrade to next phone your resell price is very high. There's just few reasons. I can't see why people wouldn't buy them. Now with iOS14 propably lot of Android users will switch to iPhone.

Why do even people still buy their phones ? I don't understand. Except for their fans of course, because they'll buy just about anything that says Apple on it, a thousand dollar stand or even a cucumber

I'm not even mad that they don't include the charger but the fack that they purposely left the high refresh screen out is more than enough to skip this one.
They could have included it easily but chose not to so they have something for the next lineup a year later.

This year's iPhones are the least appealing in recent years. Even if you're an iPhone fan, you should skip upgrading this year. Next year's one are guaranteed to come with 120Hz displays, and revamped design. Those two are reasons enough to wait for them.

Who uses T-Mo/Sprint or buy unlocked, price goes up to $750 for the 64GB Mini.
Except 5G and cpu, it is worse than X/Xs.

I used to be an Apple Fan Boy up until 2012 until their greed got to me. Then, the last straw, was their collusion with publishers to push up the price of e-books so they could get their holy 30%. All collusion partners were fined. The publishers paid up fast to minimize the scandal but Apple did not pay their $400 million fine before appealing at length. I don't know if they ever paid it but I got rid of all my Apple devices shortly after and will never buy another one.

At least with Apple or Sony or One Plus you have 3-4 models per year to choose from. With Samsung or Xiaomi you have 3-4 models per month. lol. And usually they are making the phones in such a way, that features one phone doesn't have, exactly those features other models have. They said they are doing this to please larger groups of people. But in reality they are doing this to make more profit by selling more gadgets, without necessarily taking in consideration the desire of their customers.

iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 (regular).
Pro models are a bit of a gimmick, it also lacks 120Hz RR (although I barely use 120Hz in my S20 FE 5G), LIDAR scanner doesn't have much use. It is still an overpriced phone.
Hate reusing Lightning Port. No idea if A14 chip is fast enough to replace A13 and beat SD875, but claims of the much faster machine learning may suggest something. I'm still waiting for a review.

I like these iphones, but the amount of greed apple showed is what turns me off, removing chargers, removing headphone jack, not treating all models equally, like the main camera on pro max is the one i would like to have, but in ip 12,no high rr, just to save it for the next gen, no new design(atleast from the front, that is what i wanted), it just cringes me out

The difference in camera between pro and pro max is sad. Thought apple was done with that shit after 11 pros
