-Phone becomes obsolete or battery life deteriorates badly before support ends.
-Every new version of iOS slows the phone down until it becomes unbearable to use.
-Apps stop working unless you keep upgrading the OS.
-Most new features are not supported on old phones either because the hardware doesn't support them or they deliberately left it out on old phones.
I really don't miss Apple or their software support.

I hope some of the China manufacturers will see this poll and will make small thin bezel midrange Android phone.
There have always been an option for relatively small expensive device, but never for something on reasonable price.
I had Samsung A40 and this is absolute crap. (And it also big)

Earlier, way back in 2011-13, it might have been an issue as the specs of mid range phones didn't have what it took to handle newer software versions.
These days, the specs of a mid range phone are enough to handle future software updates.

That was one of the main reasons for increase in price of This year's Android flagships.

I'm probably getting the 12 mini for my wife, but then again I'll have to wait for the battery test to come out. They did not mention any battery size and considering that this phone is about slightly smaller size than iP8, the battery might be around the same size too if not only a portion larger.

It was either the Pro or mini for me, but the Pro is larger and heavier than my current phone which isn't really worth the telephoto lens and just how pretty it looks.
I'm curious how they're going to fit the icons on the mini's "horns" though. They've only shown one blurry image of it where it looks too low, and in Xcode it looks too high and misaligned. They're probably still working on it right now.

I'm not going to answer that poll because I want to see the camera's photo quality, especially for the 12 Pro Max. I definitely skipped the 11 because of the photo's severe oversharpening level. It becomes even clearer when I compared the iPhone 8 with A11 Bionic chipset and the iPhone SE (2020) with A13 Bionic chipset despite using exactly the same camera sensor. Really not happy and impressed with the newer chipset. I definitely want to see if Apple went back to the A12 Bionic photo processing from the XR, XS, and XS Max. I still maintain that the A12 Bionic iPhones produce THE best photo quality to date. Even Apple managed to get the Smart HDR processing right on the first attempt.
But if I got to choose between all the iPhone 12 models, I'd go either the 12 mini or the 12 Pro Max. 12 and 12 Pro doesn't really excite me enough.

Can you honestly say ALL Mid android phones gives you the same confidence and worry free experience?
YES. I can say that a lot, if not all android phones give the so-called same confidence as your iPhones. I've used iPhone, Androids, BB10, Windows Phone, Symbian etc so saying from personal experiance and not just bias against iOS. Android I find to be better than the rest, as its customizable and offers much more freedom to do anything with your phone

I am sick of android fanboys bashing 1 phone with 598340698630950294123 phones. Its like swapping out one fighter for the next vs only 1 person.
Good thing = Demand = Price always high.
