Anonymous, 16 Oct 2020So sad a phone nearly 1000 dollars to become obsolete in le... moreAnd who exactly says that it is obsolete? Come on now...
And with a custom rom, it would still be able to do miracles even in a few year's time!!
(Custom ROM?? Are you even aware of that, since our are using an ipad??)

GrahamD, 16 Oct 2020The Note 9 is still the best Samsung phone to this day.Imagine my smile while reading your comment on my recently acquired Note 9.

Anonymous, 16 Oct 2020So sad a phone nearly 1000 dollars to become obsolete in le... moreA device doesn't vaporise the moment it stops receiving software updates. In fact, even multiple year old Android versions still work just fine and support 99% of apps out there. And Samsung's software is like 3 years ahead of iOS in terms of features.

I'm not saying I don't want longer software support, but it isn't necessary or even possible.

Samsung released 201 phones since 2015. No way they can update 201 phones, not in time at least. Even with their only 2 years update policy, they are updating 80 phones, and this number will approach 100 next year with their 3 years update policy for their post-S10 flagships.

Apple only released 19 iPhones since 2015. Updating 19 phones is not that hard.

Send from my iPad Air 2, purchased in 2014 with iOS 8, currently runs iPadOS 14, the 7th OS.

GrahamD, 16 Oct 2020The Note 9 is still the best Samsung phone to this day.I give you a like because I love my Note 9 its definetly the best phone I ever owned to this day, but the Note 4 is good in its own right too its hard to choose.

Note 4 has infrared and removeable battery going for it.

Note 9 has better CPU, Camera, battery life with the stock battery, better S-Pen features, better speakers, more RAM and the latest One UI and Android versions.

Damn it I love both :D

GrahamD, 16 Oct 2020The Note 9 is still the best Samsung phone to this day.Nope. The Note4 & the Galaxy S5 are the best Samsung phones to date no matter how you look at them.

Had a S2, S3, S4 and hopped on the Note bandwagon with the Note4 for a few years until getting a Note9 but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want the Note20U even if it lacks a 3.5mm jack as a 2-in-1 AUX + USB-C dongle is only a few bucks, quid and is definitely worth it for how refined of a package the Note20U is.

Now if Samsung removes the MicroSD slot then whatever they make without it will definitely not be on my buying list.

GrahamD, 16 Oct 2020The Note 9 is still the best Samsung phone to this day.Not even close and I owned the Note9 for over two years and I turned it in toward the price of my Note20Ultra 600$ on T-Mobile
