AnTuTu scores suggest iPhone 12 chipset is downclocked, GPU is slower than on the 11-series

The Apple A14 chipset is also used in the iPad Air (2020), which posted higher scores than the iPhone 12.

    They tried to build this elegant story but it doesn't add up- most charging bricks that people already own has the USB Type-A port. The charging cable they shipped with iPhone 12 are Type-C to Lightning so they won't work with the chargers that people already have. You'll need to buy a new charging brick that has a Type-C port if you want to use the cable included with the iPhone 12. So much for caring about the environment.

    It's actually pretty impressive how Apple can do the exact opposite of what they're claiming and still get away with it. If there was a Guinness World Record for 'best evil PR stunt', this would be it.

          You would have to imagine someone that hasn't already bought an Android or Apple smartphone by now. 99% of the market has already done so. Apple isn't going to be scamming off too many people. They still provide a USB C to lightning cable in the box to work with existing android and apple chargers in the market. The benefit of using the 18W charger to 20w charger is almost negligible. Most mid-range to upper range droids charge at this speed anyway with USB C chargers. Only in developmental markets would this be a detriment to Apple but they already don't sell many in such place anyway. Android dominates the marketplace.

          Apple does have an agenda to minimise its costs and when you see the scale they work at, that's a pretty big cost saving. You're claiming the high ground as if Android manufacturers aren't going to do the exact same as Apple. Some of them like Samsung and Google are stupid enough to mock Apple for their decision and then do exactly the same as them. They did this with the 3.5m jack (something I am still against personally). Apple will make SOME money through the return of MagSafe (something everyone on Android will definitely be copying) but right now I see the benefit to the environment and to Android users in this, unlike the 3.5m jack decline which was far worse than this.

          Droid fanbois just loving kicking off and hating on Apple without stopping to think about the decision and its impacts.

            Apple should have just use USB-C if they are truly so concern with reusing existing chargers. Lightning cables are simply a waste of time and resources

                          iOS users have been proven a million times to be more affluent than an average Android user. It's just a fact. IF a charger is really required, I don't think an average iOS user will hesitate to spend a bit more for that. We spend billions every year on accompanying accessories and Apps for our iPhones.

                          I have been using wireless charging for years, so again I am sure there are millions of us out there who doesn't care about the lost of charger? This is really a non-issue being blown out of proportion once again by Apple Obsessed Fandroids.

                          In Australia, the 256GB iPhone 12 Pro Max is actually cheaper than when the XS Max was released.

                                  U r wrong bro actually snapdragon 865 beat a13 in cpu that mean snapdragon can beat a14 chip also in both case cpu or gpu and i am very happy that snapdragon give tough competition to apple a series chip becasue i dont like apple, apple is a poo phone
