A flagship is defined by not just the processor but other things as well.
Android users aren't too interested in tiny screen which is why they prefer bigger screens.
The tiny display market is a niche at best.

Innovation shouldn’t only about being first in new technology it should also be refined. The first fold was not very good with peeling screens a horrible notch and a front screen that wasn’t up to much when the device was folded and was crap to type on. When Apple do it they will sell more and there first device will be better.

I guess people really love the notch/unibrow.
I was also considering iPhone 12 Pro, unless they kept the screen at 60Hz for the 3rd year in a row(since the technology appeared in other devices).

Android allows user security in their own hands, iOS does not.
Plus on devices with color OS, you have protection features where empty list of contacts, calls, other data, etc is sent to apps like truecaller, payment apps which need permession to these for working, etc.
Also so many Android skins have feature called as second space to give you two profiles on the OS thereby protecting your personal data when you hand over your phone to someone.
This was just related to security and privacy.
There are multiple such features under the domain of performance, battery, user interface, customizability, ease of use, etc. I won't go into detail as it would be too long for a post.
But you get the idea. IOS users are simply left scratching their heads when they find out the vast number of possibilities in the Android ecosystem.
As usual iOS users will call all these features half baked and gimmicks until they get it on their phones.

Haters would hate. There are plenty of reasons the android devices are good, more variety, more customizable interfaces, more flexibility. But if someone need a reliable device that would get the work done faster, without hiccups, then there is no other alternative better than Apple iphones. I've kept Notes, still using them. LG devices amazing products. At certain point there is always a trade off, some devices won't update because of poor update policy, some have screen burn issues, latest One UI 2.5 update left Note 9 owners stranded with tinted display issues, all looks good on papers but in real le=ife when you use , the ultimate best option considering all factors, the best buy is an iPhone

Plenty of them don't even know which model they have.
Last time I heard, the most expensive phones on the market are all Android.
400$ is expensive? Lol.
Look at the marketshare of devices above 1900$.
95% and above, Android ruling there.
Samsung just made 16 million dollars selling 5k units of the special edition of Galaxy Fold 2 each costing 3300$ in seconds.
Apple is too technologically backward to bring an innovative foldable devices to the market.

That is the reality.
People who buy iPhone are just people who want that Apple logo on the back.
Another reason why smartphone cases for the iPhone without the cutout at the back for Apple logo hardly sell.

And that’s why Apple sells over 50% of over $400 phones! With these new iPhones the number soon is propably something like over 70%.
People who don’t care what they get buy Android phones and people who want something better most choose iPhone, that’s a reality.

All Android flagships are eating the iPhone Alive when you compare them then head to head as an overall product.
