Thank you for this wonderful review - very well done!
I purchased the "2-pack" of these scooters...A truly amazing deal price-wise. For just a couple hundred dollars more than a spare battery pack alone, I got two complete scooters!
Although the scooter works very very well for my needs, I do have to be honest and call out my disappointments:
1. Even in the most powerful mode, the scooter's acceleration is lackluster, but it does get going, and keeps up with other smaller scooters I often encounter on the road.
2. Hill climbing is woefully sad. It poops out very easily. I would have expected better from a 350W motor. I had a 250W "Eco Reco" scooter a few years ago and that was not only MUCH faster and zippier, it handled hills better.
3. The range, although good enough for my needs, I don't believe is anywhere near what they advertise. I'm a big guy (185lbs + carry 20+ lbs of backpack and other stuff with me), and on mostly flat surface with a few "ups and downs" along the way (average riding conditions), I get about 8 to 10 actual miles of riding on a full charge of the 10AH battery. They do offer a 12.5AH battery upgrade, and of course you can easily carry a spare with you, which is REALLY nice...So compared to other scooters I've had, the removable battery is an awesome feature.
4. Because the battery is on the upper part of the scooter, it is top-heavy, making the scooter easy to tip over when parked. I had it fall over when I was on the subway the other day and it nearly hit someone. Luckily, no one was hurt. But it could have been an incident. I have to either fold it up or hold on to it constantly while on the train to avoid anything happening.
5. The handlebars have rubber grips on them, which on my scooter have loosened a bit and seem to be slipping off the edge - enough to start causing a bit of damage to the grip...I think after some time, the rubber end-cap of the grip may break off. When the scooter is shipped, it requires that you screw on the handlebar grips initially before riding...Make sure they are tightened with a good wrench or pliers...Mine came loose easily while riding and needed to be re-tightened. It's not a horrible issue, but something to be aware of.
In spite of the above, however, overall I am happy with the scooter as it does what I need it to do, and for the price and total weight, it's a solid contender to other scooters in its class. It is VERY well built, and feels solid.

Crap scooter Terrible customer service
I’ve had this scooter about 9 months now and it’s never gone more that 8 miles on a full charge. Also it’s never gone faster than 16 mph on flat ground. I’ve been dealing with customer service for over 2 months now and they’ve offered zero solutions, our last correspondence took them over two weeks to respond. Stay far away from this scooter, it won’t deliver the speed or range as promised and the company refuses to stand behind it.

I was excited to receive this scooter, but it has disappointed me in every way. Delivery took three weeks longer than expected, and when the scooter arrived, the tire was flat. Multiple attempts to call and email didn't lead to any sort of resolution. Eventually, I hired a local bike shop to try and fix it, which didn't work, and so now the scooter is a lifeless paperweight sitting in my garage.
Tried to issue a chargeback (after multiple emails) and the company fought it, and somehow won. I have been thoroughly screwed. 0/10. Would not recommend.

There are plenty of local brands in all countries that offer more vfm. From my limited research, in Europe, there are only a handful of realme models available and they have pretty bad pricing. Not that having more models would make a difference, it's the same "macro + depth" camera all over the lineup.

Nice review, thanks! Loved that the review was made from a viewpoint of a person of my own weight category - this "100 kg weight limit" thing has always raised a huge question mark for me.

I have an M365 "clone" that I'm looking at upgrading from. This scooter is definitely NOT on my list anymore: expensive, joke warranty (is 6mo even legal in EU?), top-heavy, mostly underwhelming.

Nick WHO, 01 Nov 2020You cannot even climb a hill with those hippy scooters.Just so you know i have a 500 watt single motor scooter that zips through slope. You won't believe how much power a personal scooter actually have unless you generalize the population according to your experience with shared scooters.
