Anonymous, 20 Oct 2020Whilst I'm glad this is getting a wider EU release, no... morebe careful that the imported version doesn't have the same bands... In France, it would have only three of The five 4G bands ....Yes, it's overpriced.

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2020Tell that to NokiaThing is though dude . Although Nokia isnt the as it was back in the late 90s/early 2000s. They're well well established in Europe/UK. Only people who are tech enthusiastics would've heard of Vivo hear in uk

Is it possible the software was changed also to avoid patent violations? Not necessarily just to suit peoples' tastes.

With naming like this they won't get far in europe. And I hope they fail completely because consumers are so confused by the random naming that they just skip the brand as a whole

Wow. That's 800 euro for the X51 5G. Great way to promote Vivo to a new market. I am sure many will spend that amount of money to a brand that they never heard of (here in Europe). /s
By the way, at this price range, it has to counter against the very popular phones like, Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G, Apple iPhone 11 Pro and the brand new iPhone 12. All with many years of software updates & great after-sale support.
Good luck.

Is just me or these prices look a little higher than what the other Chinese manufacturers are having in Europe? Like Xiaomi or Realme.

Smallworld, 20 Oct 2020If vivo enters Europe then Huawei is officially deadThe reason why they suddenly entered europe is because of huawei's woes. They know there will be a void to be filled. Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi will have to fill that void.

harwey, 20 Oct 2020Well,I think it's not their fault. This device costs $5... moreThe original price in China is also very expensive though. It's well over €100 more than a Oneplus 8t and is also more expensive than phones like the mi10, and Honor 30pro

nikojas, 20 Oct 2020A new entrant to the European market is a good thing, but w... moreYeah, in China the OP8t is also a lot cheaper. Vivo and Oppo are always very expensive for their upper mid range camera focused models. Both brands are significantly more expensive than their competition from Huawei/Honor and Xiaomi in China for midrange phones

£750 for a 765g? They won't fair any better than Oppo have then. They haven't exactly become a household name here with their over priced Find X2 series.

That's a crazy price. Not even top specs and it wants a top price. Even the Samsung S20 FE is much cheaper and much better. Oops.
