AnonD-59811, 02 Aug 2012hey solution for all xperia users who have upgraded their p... morewell my Arc doesn't lag on ICS but it has a very erratic behaviour. Sometimes he does all sorts of unexpected things like asking for pin while in an app, being logged on some social network but saying I need to log on to read messages or simply crashing OS or the app itself.
It was much more stable on GB and I don't think it is an hardware limitation, I think this is due either to a bad rom (from sony) or a bad OS from Google and I don't think in my case this can be solved with a repair either from SEUS or Pc Companion.

After update if ur phn become laggy then repair ur ohn using pc companion..after that ur all prblms will be solved

Truck Stop, 01 Aug 2012Unfortunately boosook, you don't know what you're talking a... moreDude, you can just flash the firmware from xda-developers. It's official, and just from another region. ICS aren't bad, they're good enough. I've been using ICS on my Xperia Neo V since it was Beta.

Either fix ICS or give a stable JB ...but please do something to make me feel I bought a smartphone smartly . ... P.S. : I own an Xperia Pro and I loved it on GB but now SEUS has ruined my Pro in the name of 'ICS' ...

no need to get upset..you already paid for the phone..they already have your money and they can do what they want..stop wasting time..its not like sony are going to address your complaint on these comment section..i own xperia neo which still haven't received the ics which released over 6 months ago..so what makes you think that they are going to released jelly bean for 2011 xperia if they haven't even finished with ics??

For the people complaining about lags/freezes/etc. on their ICS Xperias: that doesn't happen to every device. Apart from some bugs (absence of macro for the camera, custom ringtones sometimes disappear when phone starts, no LED notification for SMS, lag when opening the dialer), my Xperia Pro runs very well and doesn't freeze or crash.

sony cant put jelly bean on anyhting before the xperia s, which btw i am still waiting on ice cream ! the arc s which i updated to ice cream freezes every third time i open an aplication , it is a joke.....sony phones are always laggy for some reason and adding uodates just kills them off completley

you all pathetic sony is great i have my xperia active and its running smooth on ICS. got a tons of applications inside but still its very smooth no lagg etc.. maybe you really dont know how to update or what memory card are you going to use.
