It doesn't have Aptx or Aptx HD but neither did my S20+ (because it was Exynos and those are only supported on QC chips). My momentum tw2 sound just as good here as they did on the S20+. I'm not sure about LDAC since I don't own anything with it

An some of us hate Samsung (with all its bloat) and overhyped features that don't work most of the times, and only check boxes on paper. Or the walled in garden that Apple is. And if Huawei not having GMS hasn't rung any alarm bells for you when it comes to your dependence on Google then maybe it should. That being said Appgallery is growing , it still needs polish and there are other reputable stores out there that can sever your needs. Even my bank's homebank and contactless payment software is now on Appgallery.

Some will use it without the play store and obtain their apps through alternative means i.e. petal search, other app stores and app repositories. Some will install GMS on their phones. It's a hack but it works and there are plenty of guides on the internet to show people how it's done. And it only takes 10-15 minutes.

You have Google definitely following you, Facebook and Twitter at least trying to. Someone malicious working for those companies is far more likely to gain from access to your data than somebody in China. And we know from past events that, for instance, Facebook security sometimes goes wrong.
The main reason for not buying Huawei if you live in the West is the commercial risk of it not being supported by 2021.
