Why can't I expect it with a Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ processor? I think this would be a much better option than Snapdragon 865.

Even though it says that the new Redmi K30S would be cheaper than the ultra variant, I would still go for the ultra one with Mediatek chipset. performance is much more important than the price.

This is just one aspect of Xiaomi and other Chinese brands that I’m not into, rebranding. It would still sell with the same name especially with those specs in that price range, damn!

But if you're thinking to have an oled display for a minimal price then being choosy is not a right. Its a privilige, because a privilige one has the capacity to pay extra. Very simple.

If it were fo... moreA high quality lcd is better than suboptimal oled. I own k20 pro, it is a really good oled screen when it comes to stills, but really bad when it comes to scrolling or low brightness, black colours are all over the place, black colour create trails over other dark colours, due to its bad pixel latency. My note 8 pro lcd work better than this in that department.
So for me a high quality lcd is always better than a bad OLED.

A LCD panel shows natural colors and Oled and sAmoled tends to over saturate colors so yeah they could seems to be eye catchy but what good quality LCD can produce is not bad either and even Apple used LCD panel
