Rather than playing with emotions of the people why can't Micromax up their game by using latest SOC and hardware... They can only rebrand Chinese phone and sell instead of opening assembly line to build better competing fone... And if they can't release new models quick enough they ae bound to doomed again...

Most of these comments came from some sort enthusiast people that know about smartphone still that is small percentage of the major consumers most people dont care about the specs they need a brand value and after sale support. If micromax start as enthusiast company then appeal after the some growth to the major consumer like oppo and vivo did they can have a chance.
Even oneplus is made in like this strategy start as enthusiast company so no ads required enthusiast will reach them to buy
Then make profit and grow up then appeal to the major consumers like hiring actors in ads changing design adding cool features etc...

India is no where on the list.

Even USA adheres to it's One China Policy, even though Taiwan is seperate independent country.

Taiwan is not backed by india and neither in trade or in any relations, it's backed by USA.

Stop linking india with everything, it's getting bored and tired .

Companies are investing in china and moving in and not moving out lol

China has record FDI up by 25% since September YOY.

                https://news.cgtn.com/news/2020-10-22/FDI-in-China-grows-in-first-nine-months-of-2020-UNMllqxFpm/index.html

Taiwan has very good trade relations with china apart from military and it's their second best trade partner with china and india is not even on their top 15 trading partner list.

Infact Vietnam is replacing india as next investment hotbed after China.

                https://eurasiantimes.com/chinas-loss-is-not-indias-gain-as-asean-nations-led-by-vietnam-emerging-as-the-next-asian-tiger
Infact Singapore a country that 4571 smaller than india has double the FDI investment than india in 2019.

India does not have mainstream fabs, they have only one that can make 180nm that's it.

US banned China from getting ASML Machine, so they started making their own based on SMIC, Amy said China is Decade behind in semiconductor fanning, but now they say they are only 3 years behind.

If anything world knows how much depends they depend on US Technologies than Chinese manufacturing.

Google force all indian developers to go through their billing instead of their own,so now it's been delayed to 2022 but still no concession.

Europe has initiated indigenous Supercomputer project based RISC-V in order to avoid getting caught up in another US Embargo.

Anonymous, 24 Oct 202060% of Taiwanese chips are fabbed and are made in Shenzhen.... moreBut that is good, now Indians have realized the price of over-reliance on China just like the rest of the world. These countries are going to work very hard to move out of China now...might take a good 5 years, if things are done at breakneck speed.

Micromax is actually making a good decision by choosing the Helio G chipset as they provide a gaming value. This will make their phones a more viable option amongst the youth who are interested in gaming to a huge extent.

Anonymous, 24 Oct 202060% of Taiwanese chips are fabbed and are made in Shenzhen.... moreYou people only can blame, no one can take a initiative to start a company which will develop chips in India, as we don't want to indulge in research and development. In my opinion there is a huge potential for electronic chip development in India take look of Shakti. Also there are many engineer who have potential but don't have right direction for it's development.
