You turn them on / take out of the case and the pair automatically.
It's not the rocket science, it always has been this way ... it's just one button to switch the connected device.
+ It's more convenient I own more than one pair of headphones.

Fun part is that they have better battery life, ip certification and most importantly they sound miles better than airpods.
Some of them are cheaper than Air pods as well.

For the average use that just want something that's convenient and works AirPods are among the best options. Like I can carry them around in my jeans pockets, good luck with that with your headphones, sound of them is superior ofc but for convenience the AirPods rule.

Also it's not only about pairing - you grab your iPhone and the AirPods are automatically connected it. Put the iPhone down, pick up your iPad, it connects instantly. But you wouldn't know.

If pairing a wireless headphone / multipoint with is such big priority for you, that's another story - I myself rather press one button and do not suffer with my ear bleeding due to bad sound ... 99,9% of the time I am using my headphones, I listen to music or take a call.
+ You can get every headphone cheaper if you look for it. That's not exclusive to any brand.

I already have wired studio cans for when I care about sound quality, AirPods are just much more convenient and inconspicuous.
Don't like the foam tips of the Pros though, in ear buds like those always make my ear canal itch.

Honestly, 18W charging is like using ancient 5 year old technology.
The world has moved on to better charging technologies. So, 18W is below average compared to other fast charging standards.
Same way, millions of people are buying air pods, but sound quality as usual is below average.
Plenty of other wireless earbuds which sound ten times better and cost the same as air pods pro.

Look Apple have products that people do not buy also. But for AirPods if millions buy it, how bad can it be? I used one, although i do not have the best ear in the world, that can detect all kinds of good or bad sound, and i find it good.
I like the ease of use, do not need to pair with another device before use. Once you unlock your iPad, it auto connects and play. Once you connect to iPhone, it connects and play. Once you connect to Mac, it connects and play.

I wonder why it takes so long to get the white version of Bose QuietComfort Earbuds in stock :-/
Will they fix RMA issues on new AirPods Pro version? Will they fix their design flaw in ear canal section? Will the ANC actually work and be user tweakable?
+ I would love them to even sound decent unlike Airpods or Airpods Pro?
On the other hand - gyms are closed ... no need to hurry to get new TWS.

No need to charge your earphones, no unnecessary draining of battery due to Bluetooth with a wired pair.
More reasons to prefer wired.

Is wired has battery life like in wireless? Do you need bluetooth to connect wired like in wireless? If you think both are falling to same category, then give me an answer for this.
