I'm expecting Apple to sell lots of battery cases and make even more money off their customers.

I left Apple due to the battery. If you are out with GPS and Maps enabled iPhone is dead within few hours. Once it left me completely unreachable for hours and I left wandering in an unknown place and that day I realised what's so important in a phone!!!. Gave the iPhone 7 to a family member and got a Samsung M30s immediately due to large battery. No regrets, performance is incomparable but it does a decent job for my usage and Samsung rollout security patches promptly which makes my work-profile works seamlessly. What I really miss is the size and really wish for an iPhone which can last 1.5-2 days or a fully day with heavy usage.

Android.Master, 26 Oct 2020Honestly, this phone is half baked in terms of a 2020 flags... moreOne can safely say, that most 700-900$ offering from Android manufacturers have much more to offer than iPhone 12.

Apple is notorious for being Greedy about profits. So if they charge 700$, then it means you are getting a product completely devoid of mainline basic features which are easily available on budget Android phones.

Android manufacturers will make less profit if it means delivering a product that satisfies the expectations of users. Nobody goes home disappointed. While Apple prioritizes their profits ahead of what consumers want.

So don't expect a product to be upto the mark in the 700$ price segment if it is coming from Apple.

Here's the deal, the iphone XR/11 was loved for it's weight and build quality. Now when you hold the new 12 you are amazed at how light it is. Big advancement right. Lol two years from apple will go back to the heavy build quality again and get you amazed again.

[deleted post]Mi doesn't use VOOC technology.
That is why it heats up the phone more compared to its VOOC equivalent.
VOOC and others (under different names) are exclusive to BBK electronics.

JDK, 27 Oct 2020your logic: perfect phone is mi 10 ultra with tons of a... moreFirst of all, When did I say Mi 10 ultra is the perfect phone?
Secondly, there are no ads served on Xiaomi flagships.
They are limited to budget devices. And they can be removed in 5 minutes if needed.

Although if you do compare the two, you'll find that Mi 10 ultra is simply better in plenty of areas. The price is also similar.
Only clear advantage for iPhone is the IP68 rating.

I am sending back my newly purchased Iphone 12. No battery charger or ear plugs included. How am I supposed to use a phone that I can't turn on? Just got off the phone with Apple Support and they told me I had to purchase the battery charging block separately. Not even going to look up how much they cost, because if they think that spending $1000 on a phone only to be told I have to spend MORE to use it is a way to keep customers they are really full of themselves.
