And don't say sales, coz by your logic, 95% Android users hate their 6.5 inch screens despite the sales.
Most of them bought the SE not coz it was compact, they bought it because it was the cheapest way they could flash their apple logo to the world.
Another reason why smartphone cases for the iPhone without the cutout at the back for Apple logo hardly sell.

It also has a bad battery life not as trash as the soc throttling or heat
One Ui is very very bloated and no one can deny that, I think it is the most bloated os, let's not forgot that it has ads like miui though in miui they can be disabled, I don't know if you can disable ads on One Ui

It looks so good I might actually have to buy it and hate myself for buying apple everyday then. I hate apple and apple products so much since the iPad I bought back in 2014 but I love that phone size and weight. I NEED IT

No amount of justification will make it better.
Tomorrow iPhone will give you tiny 400 mAh battery which gives 1hr SOT.
You'll still praise Apple for their battery efficiency.

In the past 10 years I've went through at least 10 phones. From 4 inches (Sony-Ericsson Xperia X10, iPhone 5s), to 4.7 inches (Htc One X) to 5.2 inches (Huawei P8) to 5.5 inches (OnePlus 3) right up to 6.4 inches (Galaxy Note 9 which I'm currently using). Every time I went for a size increase, I said to myself "this display is big enough, I'm not going for bigger next time". Yet each time I ended up with a bigger display :)) that is... Until now. 6.4 inches is the limit for me. I will be upgrading from my note 9 in a couple of weeks. And only the Xperia 5 II and the 2020 iphones made the short list (minus the pro). Honestly? I can't wait to go back to a screen I can use with one hand all the time.

When did those 90% users say they want smaller screen.
Why does it bother you that lot of them are 200-300$ phones?
Even those 200 dollar phones have high refresh rate, better battery life, faster charging, new age design over garbage iDevices.
