But hey, in Android we just need to wait 1 year (lol). I am sure next year the market will be full of small screen Android phones. Which for me is sad, I hope they will not stop make big phones in the next 2 years. I do not like small phones.

I had 4" phone (iphone SE 1st gen) and also 5.8" phone (Samsung A20e) in the past. Also other small phones.
Now I have a 6.5" phone. Is no comparison. And I am not talking quality here, but quantity.
Everything looks better on a bigger screen. Social media, web browsing, YouTube, everything. No matter how good a screen is, still everything on it is small.
People want small screen phones now, because they want to be hipsters, just try something different than the average person or something. Is not because they want to be practical. Like I said, I have normal hands, and I do not find it so hard to use a 6.5" 200g phone.

Forget the mini, the iPhone 12 which isn't mini but a decent 6.1 inch screen size has terrible battery despite being 60hz as per the latest review by Gsmarena.

I think this is gonna sell very good. That's quite a big niche for people who want a flagship with a reasonable medium sized screen.
People calling this a small screen. Did you forget in 2017 the standard was 5.5" screens? Just 3 years ago! People's hands didn't got bigger....
There's a lot of people with small hands (men included) and people that like to use their phone with 1 hand comfortably but also want a flagship. In a 5.4" screen you can perfectly send messages, use social network, watch videos, games etc
The only downside is the small battery. Let's see if it holds at least 5h SoT, if it does, it's gonna be a success. And there's no competition also!! This was a great move by Apple.

The average users would rather choose 10hr SOT with ultra fast charging over 5hr SOT with ancient 20W fast charging. The average user doesn't care how Apple got better juice out of such a small battery.

IPhone 11 pro max isn't battery champ, wasn't battery champ either.
Other Android top dogs had already destroyed iPhone 11 pro Max in battery life all while having HRR.

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2020I really hope this starts a revolution with other manufactu... moreI don't think it does, what you think happens to battery life? android phones in this size will have horrible battery life. iOS is lot more power efficient so they can use smaller batteries and still get decent battery life with these small devices. Android phones need lot bigger battery to get battery life what iPhone gets. Just look the 11 Pro Max which is currently battery champ even when markets are full of phones with lot bigger battery.

My mom is forced to go with samsung A41 cause it's the smallest phone in the market with low price as 199 euro cause she's LG Leon is close to it's death. She wont buy iphone cause it's too expensive for her and she isnt that dumb. Even 2020 Se is too expensive for her and well she is use to android and dont want to learn IOS. Never mind that it make no sense when you use phone for the phone feature only and time to time play soliteir car game or take few pictures so these iphones are out for sure. She even said no at her work when she was offered to get a work phone that was something Iphone x or something when it come out
