I still remember when Neflix was first getting really popular, everyone bought a subcription because you got to watch tons of content for a cheap price, as time passed, they offered worse and worse content and now they are asking more and more for it as well. Looks like a lot of people will go back pirating content, these companies are out of their mind if they think anyone will pay for 480p

AhmedSLL, 30 Oct 2020"Investing into quality", please, don't make... moreTheir 'quality content' is the reason why i canceled my sub, not the price. In Europe there isn't much else besides their originals and their best offerings are 'meh' at best.

Netflix take slight profit per subscriber in India but India's popular is huge. Their pricing strategy has to be different in every country. Also netflix pay different price to the movie depend on region.

We know that netflix has slow growth subscriber in the news, tthen netflix want to increase profit by increase rate in the greatest purcashing power country without risk to increase churn rate consider netflix is so popular in US. Yeah make sense.

I mean Indians get nothing for those high prices. In US, you can earn a month of Netlfix's price in an hour. An average Indian for Netflix's price in India has to work for like few days. And we get none of the good international stuff. Indian original Netflix content is horrendous.
This is like throwing money for someone else.

I wonder if and when the same will happen in EU? For now, prices in my country are acceptable, but, if they hike them up like they did in USA and rise them by 3 euros then it would be lame and would certainly think about cancelling my sub’s with them.

Time to find another service. I hope the other services increase their offerings . Netflix has dominated for far too long! Bring on the competition! Plus I get very little recommendation from Netflix an usually things I don't want to watch(foreign movies without English dubbing). They limit what you watch, less for them to pay the studios on high price popular movies.

Two price increase in two years! This makes netflix the expensive of this kind of streaming service. Not much has changed with Netflix over the years. They have add a lot of foreign films without dubbing to English (not as enjoyable as English films), plus for me my home screen hardly changes for recommendations! Something else Netflix limits
