I'm still on the standard G7 which is he best G series phone imo. G8 lost a number of features like NFC so i didnt upgrade. The G9 standard never appeared and the G9 variations still didn't have all the features of the G7. Also why all the colours and no Black????
Hopefully the G10 standard will come in black with at least the same features of the G7. Bring back the compass!!

Side mounted fingerprint readers not in screen, IP68 rating, Bluetooth 5.1 with APT X, Dolby Atmos & DTSX support, dual front facing stereo speakers hidden in the frame, Dolby HDR & HDR10+ support!

I wish Motorola would just cut all the crap and release a 5G X5 with a 5.7" OLED, SD 765G, 6/128GB w/SD, 3.5mm, glass body. Not too big, not too small upper mid-range phone. No plus or play or power just one fricken model

Had the first generation of the Moto G line and loved it! However, most of its successors were extremely underwhelming. This policy of releasing a new generation just weeks after the launch of the current generation is really beyond my understanding. In addition, the design with the glossy back and monstrous dimensions (on every Moto phone there is!) and the bad update plan don't convince me.

Why so fast? Moto G9 Plus came out only weeks ago. Moto G6 Plus was the best Moto G phone IMO.

I used to love Moto phones and think the lack of update and delay is unforgivable. Need to find a new phone to invest in now. Such a shame!

It doesn't matter how good looking Motorola phones are and how clean their UI is, if they give only one single Android update. Only their Android One phones are worth considering.

Gone are the days of well designed phones. Either the phones look more like cameras (quad camera, 9 cameras) or with large screen. Why can't there be phone which are just phones.
