You know, I was going to buy Note 20 Ultra if it wasn't this Exynos issue. I am living in Exynos region unfortunately. Now I heard that S21 are not including charger. Seems like I wont be changing my note 8 anytime soon.

I actually bought the Note 20 Ultra and returned it because it wasn't that much better than my OP6T, and surprisingly neither was the camera in reality. I spent ages reading reviews, comparing camera pictures between phone models but in reality the performance was nothing like the reviews. Very disappointed. Sticking with my OP6T til it ages more.

Shiny Dave, 04 Nov 2020I'm also autistic! I was a Galaxy Note 1 owner - and t... moreOh, nice to meet a fellow autistic person 😁
I don't know if this is related or not, but I have huge issue typing on touch screen.
I don't have any coordination problems, I easily do the "tap on your head and circle on your stomach while jumping one on foot and do the Alphabet", I play(ed) guitar and I have no issues writing on keyboard, and while I am not extraordinarily fast, I am not a slow tipper either.

I wasn't really in front of my keyboard and still get this score on https://typing-speed-test.aoeu.eu/?lang=en :
Your score: 266 CPM (that is 53 WPM)
Your score beats or equals 67.84% of all.
In reality, you typed 284 CPM, but you made 3 mistakes (out of 52 words), which were not counted in the corrected scores.
And I did a lot of typo that forced me to use backspace a lot.
And I am not bad at aiming on FPS games, in fact, on close quarters type of games where there is a lot of action, I often have a big score.

But the tactile, it feel like I am always offset and I never hit the right key, even in landscape mode, in fact I even modified the keyboard layout to have the arrow displayed under the letters so I wouldn't accidentally hit the home button and annoyingly have to open the app again.
It take ages for me to type on it, and I don't know if I would do better with a physical keyboard, but I don't think I lack precision, I can easily fix tiny things, not long ago I replaced the joystick of one of the controller of my GF's Switch, I did it multiple times to try and fixing it, at the end I literally opened the joystick housing itself and switched the broken plastic piece with the one from in the replacement joystick, and I never felt like I lacked precision or anything...

For your husband, maybe slider phones could work for him, though there are only the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3/Mi Mix 3 5G, the Lenovo Z5 Pro/Z5 Pro GT, and the Honor Magic 2/Magic 2 3D, the manual opening could provide him the satisfactory stimulation !

AnonD-909757, 03 Nov 2020This is because, like him, I am autistic. Hence why I don&... moreI'm also autistic! I was a Galaxy Note 1 owner - and the Dell Streak before that! - because I couldn't get on with small touchscreens. (Like a lot of autistic people, I have coordination difficulties, and moving to a touchscreen for the first time was a challenge for that. I stuck with my Nokia E63 keyboard phone for such a long time.)

My autistic husband also owned the first Note for the same reason. He still misses flip phones because he found the opening and closing a stim, so he'll probably want a folding phone when those hit mainstream prices. Or when mainstream prices hit folding phone prices, as is apparently more likely when the Note 20 non-Ultra is 1k 🤷‍♂️

[deleted post]I would legitimately pick a FE over a Note 20 at price parity. I'm not sure it's close either, given that I'm in an Exynos market.

I'd even take a Note 10+ over the 20, although I might just be too in love with the Aura Glow look to have a rational opinion there...

When most of the world has lost employment or is worried about losing their employment it's rather easy to see why people are not upgrading when the phone offers too little of an upgrade excuse.

If you continue to follow Apple blindly and don't give 3.5mm Jack to even Note users, then who will buy it? Couple of years ago, Note has much bigger screen and few functions available only to Note. It's not the case anymore and then you removed Headphone Jack too. One should not become permanent blind while following someone blindly.

Not surprised, Note series just gets worse..the best was the Note 4.

I've been a 3-time Galaxy Note User (2, 8, and 10+) and an Apple/HTC user in between, and I was pretty much drawn to the Note's innovations, sensors (the Notes are losing them, from the health sensors, to the iris sensor which I prefer than the fingerprint) design, hardware, user experience, and the impressive cameras. Lately, the Notes have not been capturing the top spots in the camera department, which is very disappointing for a pretty pricey top-of-the-line handset. The exclusivity of owning the best handset from Samsung is also eroding as the S20 Ultra is now as big as the N20 Ultra, and S20 Ultra's camera is much better than the Note's basing on DXOMark's scoring. Now there some pretty promising brands occupying that top spots and I got my eyes on them since last year. Their prices are also promising; it's crazy how phones get so expensive year after year, right? For next year when I get to change my unit, I'm seriously considering those phone brands at the top spots. It's a breather from having the priciest top-of-the-line phones from Samsung and Apple, knowing a lot of the premium phones right now can do almost everything the other can do, and camera performance surely is the greatest decision factor for me as of the moment. And yes, I also have to partner my phone with a feature-rich smart watch, no?

The Note20 vanilla is one of the best Samsung phones in a long while. It's true. The problem is, it is too much of a departure from the expectations of the Note series. It should have been launched as Galaxy Note Alpha. It is that good.

Hardly surprising at all with the poor sale of the note series.
Get rid of the shetty crapynos and use it for the mid range phones if you must but Not on the Note series that you are trying to sell at a premium price.
buyers like myself are not buying a Note with crapynos and poor performance and battery life, give me an SD865+ with bigger battery and will consider buying one.

Samsung, if there’s one thing you should copy apple, it’s stop releasing flagships after flagships one after the other. Release all flagships all at once and let them have ONE full year of true best of Samsung status. It makes no sense to pay 1400$ for a phone knowing that 1) discounted immediately and constantly 2) a couple months later, Samsung releases their best smartphone ever (cycle repeats).
