When iPhone removed the jack, all android bois are trashing it like crazy.
Now when android followed, suddenly only people with "bad ears" diss on the jack.
Watch that guy say that only "dumb people" criticize brands for removing headphones and charger in 2025.

I think in 2030 Apple may finally bring some of the stuff that you can get on other manufactures. They will probably also claim that they have invented it for the first time in human history like they do with everything else they steal from competitors.

Most phone users not just iPhone users overall don't understand specs and why should they? What difference it would make? Only thing what matters is how those specs shows to users and how the users benefit from that and in that Apple is always been great. Apple have proven over and over again that paper specs doesn't mean anything. People buy whole experience and overall packet. That's clearly why Android high-end phones are selling so badly nowdays. People aren't brainwashed by paper specs anymore.

[deleted post]It is and isn't. I gladly pay a bit more for "Apple tax" as people call it, but really the updating experience is what got me. It's unlike anything I've experienced on ANY Android device and I don't care what Android fanboys are saying about getting features late or whatever. That's entirely irrelevant. What I care is I get a long term proper support for device to a point I just don't care about that aspect. Where with all Android devices without exception I was constantly trembling whether I'll get any update at all after a year or two. Coz they just expect you to buy new device if you want latest OS. And that's just so stupid. And all the waiting coz of regions they have and spreading updates. None of that is with iPhones. There is an update? You're getting it NOW and it doesn't matter where you live. For 5 years guaranteed. If any Android maker does this, they'll win me over instantly. Until then, I'm not moving from Apple devices.

And same is with whole hardware experience too. It's not a question of "what resolution and refresh rate is used by display". It's "do I get that good of an image that I don't even care". And that's exactly the case. I used to obsess over specs too. But I stopped caring back when I had Huawei Ascend P7 with 1080p display and literally couldn't tell a difference when I switched it to 720p. Except battery life got extended dramatically. So, going with iPhone XR with "only" 720p display literally didn't bother me at all when image is so good I just don't care at all. Most of iPhone "specs" is like that. I just don't care what it scores in benchmarks. I know Apple's chipsets are best of the best and when it's that, you just simply stop caring. It's like how Rolls Royce rates their car engine power. They don't list numbers. It's always "sufficient". And I can't argue witrh that given the smoothness I have in everything.

I've... moreAgree, on paper specs mean nothing if the software can't make proper use of it, having more RAM, bigger battery or a higher score in some benchmark app won't make your pepe bigger, nor your phone faster. It still comes down to software optimization, the price for which is included in the Apple product you buy.

But I do agree that removing the jack was a good step forward given that as a component it takes up too much space for what it gives. And even taking it further, I wouldn't be surprised, not sad if in the future we'll lose all the physical port opting in for only wireless solutions. :)

But sadly as another guy said, I too am unable to afford an iPhone given that my salary equals the price of an iPhone 12 64GB in my country xD
