Oh this Tablet sucks in everything. I'll wait for the new Xperia Tablet that will be more than this piece of garbage. I guess this is karma for copying. :)

When specs are disappointing...they are generally true.

Because resolution is the only important thing in a tablet? I would say that multitasking is a lot more relevant IMO. Sadly for Apple users Apple does not seem to get that.

Tom777, 06 Aug 2012Does it mean it doesn't have an IPS screen?I don't know much about LCD tech, but according to wikipedia IPS is older technology than LPS. LPS is supposed to be superior according to Samsung who developed it.

I have no idea which is better, but it seems like everyone has it in their head that IPS = best (most likely because this is what apple uses). But is it really the best? Perhaps someone that knows more can comment.

I'm not bothered by the resolution, I'm sure it'll still be very nice. I'm currently on a 10 inch 720p laptop and text that's two small for me to comfortably read still looks crisp.

What I do think is unfortunate is that all the android tablets seem to have 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratios (to my knowledge). I find the 4:3 aspect ratio of the ipad much more practical for a tablet.

Oh well, I will still by this unless I become convinced it's worth waiting for windows 8 tablets with wacom.

By the presence of the fenomenal Google Nexus 7 and the arrival of the Note2, I guess it's fair to say that this will be the first epic fail by Samsung. I really don't know what they're thinking making a tablet this mediocre with having a stylus ability as it's only advantage and releasing it with such a high pricetag. Congrats Samsung, for your first epicfail!

Damn Sammy! I thought this tablet will be better than iPad! I was waiting for it to buy it instead of iPad. With THAT much low pixel density and old processor, I am really disappointed. Guess gotta buy either ipad or huawei 10 fhd

I agree that with this low screen resolution and screen type (non-IPS) Samsung just can't compete with Apple in the tablet field right now.

$479 euro= 592USD. is a little expensive for wifi version. i will only buy this wth with the max price of $450usd. i think this wifi version is same comparison to the asus tf700 infinity. they both should be at 450usd range.

Putting an Exynos 4 quad (same as s3) is a mistake in my opinion. snapdragon S4 krait quad core devices will arrive soon, making these exynos devices outdated (since as already seen, beats exynos 4 quad by a large margin). Samsung should release note 2 with a new architecture if it wants to stay on top.
