It's why I haven't even considered Apple Watch until Apple Watch 5 arrived which is what I have now. Having a blank watch is just so weird. It looks weird and having to depend on wrist gesture to display info is just annoying. Where always on display is amazing. Not only it looks really nice, you also see info all the time on it and you can even disable the wrist gesture waking coz it's really not even needed. Dunno, anything below Apple Watch 5 is just something I'd never consider because of this and SE falls into that category. On the other hand, Apple Watch 6 feels a bit pointless. Sure it has oxygen meter which is on-demand only so I question it's purpose coz you'll have oxygen saturation at 95-100% anyway, otherwise you'll already know you have problems if it's below that. And if you absolutely need the altimeter. Brighter display isn't really a need as AW5 display is bright enough if you ask me and ambient light sensor adapts it accordingly so it's always well visible.

    I think finding Apple Watch 5 for good price is the best way to go. It's just the best rounded package with no real compromises. No always on display on SE is imo a big trade off.

      Just picked one up, these are so much more comfortable to wear than my Galaxy Watch 3. Using Apple Pay without my iPhone is a huge plus.
