nanagdad, 09 Nov 2020What new bloatware does it come with? One persons bloat is another persons features.

If you don't want the latter, then choose a phone with stock android, not Miui.

Anonymous, 10 Nov 2020As I said, you can disable Google and other apps on Samsung... moreYou can disable Google Apps on Xiaomi. All you have to do is uninstall updates and disable the apps (also there's an app called "Hidden settings For MIUI" which allows you to disable apps like Downloads).

And the fact that Samsung still has more bloatware can't be changed. Microsoft Apps like LinkedIn, OneDrive, Office come with Samsung phones in addition to their own apps and Google's. At least Xiaomi phones don't have 3 email apps.

Mi Music is not garbage because it serves its purpose to play local music files. Every single phone manufacturer have a local music player and a lot of which can't be uninstalled (Samsung Music can be uninstalled I think).

Idk abt Google Play Music since it's not my phone. (Not sure if my phone came with Google Play Music or I uninstalled it alr). Also, you can't uninstall Google Apps on Samsung phones (and a bunch of other brands as well). You're welcome.

Security, downloads, Mi music (utterly garbage), Mi video, and nearly all Google apps. You can't uninstall or disable Google Play Music even though it has been replaced by Youtube Music for example...

The only bloatware I can find on my Xiaomi phone is Mi browser, Mi Video, ShareMe and the useless Downloads app.

On Samsung however I can. That's the difference. You don't need to creare a folder named "useless crap" on Samsung. One of the reasons I switched back to my old Samsung.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2020I can guarantee the exact oppositeYou sure abt that? Samsung One UI has more bloatware than Xiaomi MIUI. The only bloatware in Xiaomi phones are a few of their own apps (The only useless bloatware in MIUI are the Mi Video and Downloads app) and Google's apps (which can be found in any Android phone).

One UI has Samsung, Microsoft and Google Apps. An easy example will be the fact that a Samsung phone will have 3 email apps (Microsoft Outlook, Samsung Email, Gmail), which is ridiculous. And this is coming from both a Samsung and Xiaomi user (S9+ & Mi 9).
