09 November 2020
Initial reports say the OTA still doesn’t ‘fix’ the issue.

Have 2 of these phones s20 ultra fe 5g and both are screen glitch problems. Not happy, been a loyal Samsung guy forever

Oh no, after reading this issue I am afraid I will not enjoy my online classes because I just bought one and my s20 fe is coming in a week. What happened to samsung company huhu

After update yesterday, I'm unable to turn off my alarm, I don't know what else is mess up, NOT HAPPY!
I didn't have so much touch sensitivity issue others experienced, now I do, so what now?

If anyone knows: it's very likely a hardware problem. Did Samsung fix this in newer units? Is there a newer hardware revision which includes the fix?

I dont have that problem but the problem i been is my finger scanner not working properly. I have to restart my phone every hour in order for it to work. And also my adjusted light screen moves continuously on its own in the sunlight or light areas period. Good phone but alot of small things and im not trying to settle for a new broke phone

I also have the typo thingy and I was blaming myself that I am not used to the big screen etc since I came from S6. Now I know it wasn't me..

I haven't received the 3rd update yet, but I still deal with the issues after 2 updates. The best news is that because it's the holiday season, Amazon is allowing returns until January 30th. So I'll be able to use this phone for almost 4 months and if Sammy hasn't fixed the problem I can send it back for a FULL refund. :)

I returned this phone for these reasons. The virtual proximity sensor is rubbish too. Great potential phone, but wasn't to be.

YAP Rony, 10 Nov 2020Mine have touch screen and adaptive brightness problemsBecause the automatic adaptive brightness issue, I return my OnePlus 7T, too. Because Oneplus only makes you dizzy with restarts and hardware resets without admitting that it was a hardware failure that affected almost all users (the after sales service is the worst thing I've encountered, they even say they don't receive your emails). If the S20 FE has that, I rule out buying it

I have just noticed that the zooming issue wasn't caused my any of my apps but rather Samsung themselves...
The zoom issue still persists but it is less severe.

I bought this phone because in the UK this model (S20 FE 5G) is the only S20 model with a Snapdragon 865 processor. I also have a Galaxy Note 10 (Exynos) and an S10e (also Exynos). This is quite easily the best phone I've had. The 120hz display is beautiful and I've not had any black crush or other similar issues. The 4500mah battery is very useful, but the main reason I bought it is that Snapdragon. Its amazing in gaming; CoD: Mobile, Redream, Dolphin, SW: KoTOR... All run amazingly smooth.

Moving on to these issues listed. Do the happen to me? Sure. Do they bother me much? Not really. I play CoD: Mobile with two fingers, it doesn't trigger the glitch. Scrolling? Depends, I also have two screen protectors (Pre-applied, and one built in to my Unicorn Beetle Pro case) and have the sensitivity increased because of them. Were I living in America, and had access to the Snapdragon S20 line, would I instead get an S20+ or Ultra? Yeah most likely. Maybe even a Note 20. But I don't, and I can't. So yeah, until the day Snapdragons in the UK become more popular, I'll be sticking to the FE. Oh, and if anyone is wondering why I didn't opt for a OnePlus since they have Snapdragons, I'll save you the time and just say that I have issues with the way the 5T was treated after release of the 6 (literally half a year after the 5t was released, and the OnePlus website weren't stocking cases or screen protectors for it. I'm still salty about it!)

TLDR; In the UK the S20 FE 5G is a good phone, and I haven't been affected by the glitch except when pu
