That doesn't mean Apple is selling more iPhones. iPhones are very expensive. about $900 full retail for a 64gb iPhone. How much does it cost to make. Many of those android phones could be the lower end Android phones that are $200 full retail. If you think about it, Apple is going to make a profit because the iPhone is so damn expensive. It probably doesn't cost that much more to make than the cheap android phones.

Did you look at the stutters faced by android ? if u are an iOS user , Android scrolling looks crap and also feels sluggish (and yet you all think its smooth) , just use iOS for like a month and go back to android , you definitely understand it.
That's why google demonstrated in "project butter" making android smoother as one of their motives.
