Facebook and Instagram are getting Vanish Mode in chats

The feature will be activated with a swipe from the bottom of the chat window.

To enable vanish mode in an Instagram direct message:

Open the chat you want to use vanish mode in
Tap the person’s name or profile photo at the top
Select “Turn on vanish mode”
A prompt will appear — tap “Turn On” to enable
Now any new photos/videos sent in this chat will vanish after being viewed

Once turned on, you’ll see a moon icon next to the chat name to indicate vanish mode is active. And that’s all there is to it!

          These social media apps have become too big and they controlling the world view, destabilizing relationships and countries. These are nothing but the NSA tools to spy. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp must be fined in each country and subsequently banned from operating. 20 Years ago we didn't have social media and we still survived.

            I think I'll stay with Telegram instead.

              How else are you gonna use this "cool feature" aside from cheating? This is like incognito mode but for a malicious intent.

                  I think I saw this feature last month in Messenger and a few days back in Instagram

                    They are encouraging people to cheat 🤦🏻‍♂️.

                      I do sure hope we can disable it if we want to. I mean, yes it's a good way to save storage but man. Getting your convo deleted unintentionally is a pain in the butt especially if you have a lot to keep in your conversation

                              i hope people of the world come to their senses and Stop using WhatsApp and use Telegram instead and delete FarceBook as Elon Musk says.
