Also Honor/Huawei stated in the past existing devices can get update in GMS installed over night...

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2020what west ? people in europe will buy it , only usa will bu... moreNope, central & eastern europe were the strong markets for Huawei and the market share in those areas declined a lot recently.

Look at Mate 40, its not keeping up with other flagships...
seems that Huawei's shall be another Nokia soon, particularly in International markets.

Hhh, 17 Nov 2020No matter who buys huawei or honor, I think the bad name wi... morePeople in Europe buy Huawei cause people see that it can be as reliable as an iPhone if not even more because of the lower price. People who say that Huawei is spying on you is bs. And what about Google then? Google is the biggest tyrant and every American knows it but they don't say shit about it.

Good move, who knows it can be another internal liaison and the sale is only to gain attention of international market to sell their phones through another name.

Huawei lost close to $12 billion in Revenues after the US ban, Global Market share has come down. samsung, xiaomi, bbk, apple to gain the most.

kurotsuki, 17 Nov 2020I wonder about the Honor Watch. Will the sale include this ... moreas long as it's supported it will work with the huawei app, so expect it to work and update like the huaweis GT watch

I wonder what Honor's direction would be next.

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2020I thought Honor were just rebranded Huawei, just like Redmi... moreThey're called sub-brands, although the sub-brand may sell re-branded parent brand phones and vice versa. The sub-brand may also have its own sub-brand (Oppo/Realme/Narzo), and things can get very confusing from then on.

TSMC, Qualcomm, MediaTek should be aware that an innovative competitor is coming for them.
It's quite obvious where Huawei is going to invest the money made from Honour sell.
Huawei is going almost independent, and I think in 5 years max.

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2020I thought Honor were just rebranded Huawei, just like Redmi... moreSome products are exactly identical . Like the honor magic book 2 and Huawei matebook. Huawei GT 2 and Honor Magic . Can't speak for other counties but when it comes to UK because honor is less know here than compared to countries in Africa o Asia. They sell there things at a lower price . Like you could buy the Honor Magic book 2 and it will cost £50 cheaper than the Huawei matebook and it's the exact same spec

Nope. Everywhere the state has the power to impose restrictions.

                                        What about Cisco's? But Google?
Do you really think that these companies don't spy and send the info to the NSA/cia?
