People who buy into this garbage. Please be aware that this is the start of a social credit system. Something which is already a nightmare in china. Keep google out of your lives.

This new Google debit card can help digital payments for many people using UPI across countries. The features that enable transaction will decide the future growth and market share for such oppurtunity.

Jee thanks for automatically sending my comment middle of me typing it...
But anyway back to the point that I was going to say.

All I hope from this new app, is that they fix the useless WearOS Google pay app.
App itself is great and works each time when I try to pay using it, but it is ruined with the geoblock.
If they have all the contracts with local banks shorted out and the Android phone app already supports your bank, then what does it matter if you physically are not in the "supported country"

Unless this is some kind of blot to sell their cloud computing space to people who otherwise would never even think about it, then there is no reason for them to limit the Google pay access on WearOS by country basis.

At least that cloud space wasn't that expensive, as the proxy server that i set up in there has used up only 4 cents since September, of the 250€ promotion money that they give you as a new user.

So when it expires on the next month, it would not be that expensive to continue using it either. But it would seriously be nice if i could just terminate the cloud account and remove the permanent proxy from my watch.

Banks in all countries are blocking competition as hard as they can. The easiest way to get in is simply by "running" your own bank. With this, banks will have to block major debit cards in their payment systems, which obviously won't work.

Yeah right because only reason why I never have enough money is because my relationship problems with money... God damn Google have some next level Bull**t PR marketing...

Also maybe YOU COULD FINALLY ADD FILTERING TO GOOGLE PLAY? hmmm?

Instead of making it available in almost all countries or at least try to, as they only seem to focus on America and Europe, they now pull off a debit card.. the whole point of using an ewallet is to use your phone and forgo the cards
