Just recently bought a 65 inch LG OLED CX, and Denon received, and 5.1 surround sound system in anticipation for the Series X.

The xbox arrived last week week and I can honestly say the TV is SENSATIONAL. The OLED is insane for games like Destiny when you're in space etc. The low latency has given me a marked improvement in playing FPS games online like halo, and the TV itself is absolutely stunning for movies.

        Would highly recommend!!!

Software is a nightmare, UI is freezing and lagging - no matter what you do. Oh, Netflix-app often opens into a black screen. Works if I unplug the TV ja turn it on again, a regular reboot without pulling the plug fixes nothing. They tried to fix these issues with a few updates, but nothing got resolved so far. Don't get me even started about their tech support.

OLED's have now not more burn-in as the CRT's back in the good old days.

As an owner of Sony Bravia i can honestly say LG is no better than Sony or Samsung or Xiaomi.
Saw many of their TVs and everything is litterary equal.

i know someone who just got an lg smart tv ... the damn thing doesn't even have HBO max available as an app - - that's pathetic.

Yes OLEDs are great, perfect blacks. But for gaming with risk of screen burn it's not worth it. I can see many unhappy customers, some don't know about the burning in, but it might never happen. Risky expensive purchase.
Wonder how much LG are paying MS.

Is this some kind of advertisement trick from Xbox 😂

Meh every modern HDR TV can do it. Sure OLED would do it better. There are faster LED displays reaching 10 ms (with HDMI 2.1 low latency enabled) & much cheaper solution's starting at 5~6 hundred $. For me it's more about picture quality and calibration and somehow Panasonic still do it best. It's possible to make a HDR from regular input using HLG conversion, which work's well with FHD or higher resolution. This is by far the most useful future.

I agree with Microsoft on this, although my LG is from 9-series, not X series. Still awesome. Even though I don't have a next-gen graphics card, it looks fantastic as long as your source can provide 4k @ 60 fps visuals. I haven't tried playing at 30 fps, I don't have any consoles and am used to 120 fps gaming since 2012 so 30 fps on consoles looks like stuttering or a quick slide show now.

There is just soo much better VA TV`s at this moment, with hisense h9g (u8fq in EU) being like 3x better for soo much less. And LG has not full hdmi 2.1 and is worse than 4 year old Samsung. Samusng is also worse than 4 year old Samsung.

That's true but also for PC and PS5. Here is a short summary why:
10-bit color, -14ms input lag, 120Hz, BFI, VRR, FreeSync Premium, GSync + Nice blacks and smooth motions and no glow thanks to OLED.

                                      1ms no lag ;.

Currently near all OLED TVs,including Sony,TCL even Huawei and Xiaomi's OLED TV using LG's panal
                                        Not so much difference
The only important thing is HDMI2.1 port
