Weekly poll: will you be buying a Realme 7 5G during the Black Friday deals?

22 November 2020
Or after them for that matter. Still, the phone will be £50 off between November 27 and 30.

No mediatek chipset (they rarely release kernel source codes).
No OIS in any cameras.
Companies are just slapping 3$ camera sensors like they have some electronic waste to get rid of. No one asked for this.

When talking about mid-range phones or entry level ones, I would recommend Realme phones. Their prices are comparable to Xiaomi, but their UI is better and with less lag.
This model and also the Realme 7 Pro are both good phones, looking at the specs. Sadly, they both have what the other hasn't. Depending on what you want, imo, you can't go wrong with either of them.

I'm waiting for a better deal. Hoping for Samsung M51 or Motorola Moto G 5G Plus 6/128 GB to drop in price. Also if Huawei P40 Lite 5G goes under 200€ it might be my choice. 5G is not even close to coming to my country (Croatia/Bosnia) but the other specs are great, i like the large batteries and high refresh displays. As for processors not really sure about Dimensity 800U over Snapdragon 730 and better and Kirin 820 5G. Dimensity 800U looks the worst in comparison. As for cameras, M51 seems the best, even better than Realme 7 pro. Tough choice for me.

No reviews here or on Notebookcheck yet, so no, i never buy phones merely because they seemingly have good specs/price. How's GPS? How's speaker? How bright screen is? It's stupid to buy without any real life impressions.

My city doesn't have 5G yet and I'd rather stay away from Chinese phones out of caution in case they're caught in a geopolitical crossfire.

That said, if I didn't have that caution I'd rather get an actual Chinaphone discount on this rather than the worst of both worlds with a OnePlus. I can definitely see it selling well.

If I was in the market for a Budget phone, I'd definitely consider this.
I don't have plans to use a Budget phone anytime soon, but I'll wholeheartedly recommend this to other people looking for one.

5G isnt a must for me. You need a certain plan with certain amount of internet data to event be able to use it. What i cant live withoutt through is an amoled display and thats why i would go for the Pro inatead.

If you don't need 5G, get the Poco X3 instead. For cheaper, you gain stereo speakers, IP53, better ultra wide and main cameras. And longer software updates for $100 less. Very very value.

And if you are in 5G, get The Oneplus Nord or the Poco F2 Pro instead. One gives you an all rounder experience while the other gives you an top end chipset.

                                1) "No, it's too early for 5G"
                                2) I won't buy a phone with a punch hole or a notch, no thanks.
                                3) 8Mp Ultra-Wide 😂 2Mp Macro 😂 2Mp Depth 😂 Yeah, what about no.

But I appreciate the 3.5mm Jack, the flat display, the dual SIM + independent Micro SD card slot, the large battery capacity, and the low price (though the SoC isn't a monster).
And I am neutral about the LCD display, I like Always On Display but other than that I have no particular preferences.
