HTC One X gets Android 4.0.4 with Sense 4.1 OTA update

HTC told me the ota's go out in 30,000 per batch so i guess its just playing the waiting game. Im in UK, still no OTA in my area. Sorry for double post, i had a message saying the previous post wasnt accepted.

Yes, the ota is released at 30,000 per batch,so some people could actually get it in the uk while others would wait for the next 30,000, i was so looking forward to the update today, alas its not showing in my area in the UK, htc told me it was in 30,000 otas per batch so its just playing the waiting game im afraid.

UK people, I contacted HTC UK and they said that the software gets released in batches to countries and not all at once, and they said UK will have it soon. Soon may mean by Tuesday. HOPEFULLY!

It says on the Androidpolice.com website that there's updates to Beats Audio.
If anyone noticed the missing profiles (Beats Pro and Beats Studio) with the last software update, I hope they have included these profiles. I complained countless times to HTC about this and I hope they have acknowledged.

UK I contacted HTC UK and this is what they said.
Aaron: the rollout date was last Friday 10th August. The update is not availabe to all users at once as the update is released in batches, however you should have it soon

Ok, i understand that it varies from country to country before everyone gets the update BUT hear me out, the unsatisfactory problem is there are no dates released by the country that we are in. For Example, I live in the UAE (United arab emirates), HTC should have listed all the countries that will receive the new firmware 2.17.401.2 updates in some sort of a timetable who will be first second and third and so forth (with dates of course) in that case, i will be happy to wonder when will i get the update. JFChrist!

Things you mentioned simply are responsibility of a vendor, regardless of how much efforts they spent, they have to do it for their business, not for free. Your comments are so funny...

interesting how quickly people become unsatisfied for something that required a ton of work and effort,hundreds of people involved and a lot of money...and he sits on the chair complaining how miserable is his live and blaming decades of tehnologic evolution,instead of having a little patience(it's the only thing he has to do).

Ok everyone, please have some patience. The update varies from each country to country. It'll gradually be available worldwide. So don't be so impatient complaining. If you have waited awhile, a bit more won't hurt. It should be readily available worldwide in a month varying from where you live.

Does anybody know when this update will be available in india....i have a problem with my live wallpapers and also the battery drains up too quickly ... i'm eagerly waiting for this update 4.0.4 !!

One x is a beautiful piece by HTC, no attraction for s3. It has better browser and net connect then Samsung, and better music sound. When will the update will be available in India. The one night wait is very long now how long I will be able to get it

derp, 12 Aug 2012if your talking sound quality, dont even bring up speaker q... moreyup,,beats is just a software equalizer..doesnt even match the real audio quality of an ipod

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2012Still no Jelly Bean update. My next phone will be a WP8.Settle down, this update is not for Jelly Bean, it's for ICS 4.0.4 and Sense 4.1. Jelly Bean update will come when ready. Moving to WP8 won't make updates come any quicker.
