Mail from HTC India for 4.04 update
In regards to your email, we would like to inform you that sense is upgraded when there is software update released for the device. All HTC device is country specific. Hence, our technical team is working on this 4.04 firmware update. As soon as it is released, you will get the notification on your device through FOTA technology.
Pathetic and very unreasonable answer to my query. Either the person who replied was not technical or was fooling around.
Bad HTC. At least keep technically sound people at support.

I ve got the european international HOX and still no sign whts so ever of 4.0.4 ICS update i wobder when would JB 4.1 Would be rolled out........ P.S any heads up wheb the update would be coming to Pakistan.....help or information would be appreciated

fas, 24 Aug 2012got the update for unbranded HOX in UK but cant install it ... moreyou cannot update your phone when it is rooted. unroot your phone first. is your one x permanently rooted or softly rooted?

got the update for unbranded HOX in UK but cant install it a red triangle with exclamation mark appears and noting happens..my device is rooted and bootloader unlocked with stock recovery never installed CWM can anyone help PLEASE.

THE 'X is already an amazing piece of device, don see a reason how any "update" could raise the bar any higher.. After all it's the ONE 4 ME.. nonetheless it would only be fair if at the least, HTC issues a fixed time period as to when each region would receive any given update for that matter..
I ONLY HOPE this would not be the case with JELLy BeAn.

The update to sense 4.1 is now available for Pakistan. Check for the update manually and it will be downloaded.
