      It levels the scores with Zenfone 6? A phone where Back camera turns into the front camera?

Only place where dramatic changes can be made are night shots, but everything else is just so good imo that it just doesn't matter anymore. I stopped caring around Huawei Ascend P7 which had amazing camera. Xiaomi Mi5 also had good one. Now on iPhone XR and I frankly just don't care either. Photos are really good to a point I just don't care. It only really starts to matter when you go down to mid and low end phones where differences can be huge as vendors cut costs and sometimes do it too far.

            There is absolutely no way on this earth that the selfie camera on the Note 10 Plus is any better than the iPhone 12. I've had both and the deciding factor of getting rid of my Note 10 was how awful the selfie camera was in anything other than perfect outdoor lighting conditions. The same goes for every single Samsung selfie camera (I've tried them all!), the wrong colours, way too much softening in low light, and generally just unflattering.

              AnonD-923722, 20 Nov 2020I was surprised to see Iphone 12 have worse camera than the... moreI just tested few mobile photos from Note 20 Ultra, iPhone 11 Pro Max & OnePlus 8 Pro with RX100 IV, nothing comes closer to the RX100 and iPhone 11 Pro Max was clearly taking natural looking selfi while rest of them did over beautifying though I liked it, it wasn’t natural. I think iPhones trying to address this gap from natural looking to pleasing ones.

                iPhone improving its selfi cameras which is already looking great. It is just good for single person selfi but 12 Pro Max is taking it beyond single person to multiple with its wide angle camera. All iPhones are already great wrt video. iPhones are getting better and better at cameras. It is just its price is really horrible in my place. But no regrets I get Note 20 Ultra and even my earlier Note 9 delivered stunning selfi photos.

                  I was surprised to see Iphone 12 have worse camera than the 11 series. Iphone is now starting to look like Samsung photos (oversaturated colours, overexposed areas, but sharp though). I am very impressed by the Huawei. They used to be the worst selfie cameras ever on an phone (P20 and Mate 20), though that's not the case anymore, the P40 and Mate 40 has very excellent selfies and are worth that large punch hole. Iphone 11 is better than Pixel 4 and any other phone out there, but with the iphone 12, it seems like that the Pixel 5 and others have caught up again. Apple needs to work on their HDR to not blow out hightlights and oversaturate colours.
