Al-Aqsa Lover, 25 Nov 2020Why?!Why we want Ps5 instead of Xbox, isnt it obvious? Ps5 is way better, the resolution test of Dirt 5 proves its big gaming advantage over series X. But the biggest advantage is the Ps5 controller, its stunning, revolutionary, true next-gen, while Series X is stuck on their old controllers that were best on the original xbox. No kidding, MS even made OG controllers for xbox One because they were better. I got a Ps5 controller already, not yet been able to get a console, i will be keeping the Series X but i doubt it will be much used once the Ps5 arrives.

r31ya, 24 Nov 2020If PS4 updates any indication, Most of the feature reque... morewell... my PS5 has trouble copying ps4 games from external drive without corruption and almost bricked because i had it connected through LAN instead of WiFi. So... not good job, very half baked. If XBOX were available where i live i honestly consider returning it and going series X....although 2bd hand market might get me some extra $$$. BTW... i read articles from gaming sites where Miles Morales bricks PS5 .. considering that is the only launch exclusive i would say this is a VERY half baked job from Sony ... so no....not good at all. I wonder waht would have happened if availability wasn't so scarce ... i think a lot more problems

About damn time. Now just make sure all games can be ran at 120 FPS, doesn't matter if it's 1080p or even lower. The smoothness of 120 FPS is all that counts. :) Huge difference between 60 and 120, glad people with consoles are finally getting some of the high refresh exprience that PC-gamers have had for many, many years now.

Optional nickname, 23 Nov 2020There was a time when games and hardware used to come out a... moreyou could argue the other way, retro games such as street fighter 2 as released 3 times on snes, original, turbo (which is really tweaked version), then super which contains 4 extra characters, same with street fighter 3 on dreamcast, 3 times with incremental updates, but as these were disc based, you had to buy them again.
nowadays, fighting games have different seasons and extra add on characters which means you don't have to buy the same games again
obviously, EA, Ubisoft and 2K games are extortionate, in charging full price games then adding dlc which alters the gameplay and this is just greedy, but we can just avoid these companies, a lot of companies are fair and don't do this

If PS4 updates any indication,
Most of the feature requested like, offloading ps5 game to external drive, Quick Resume, VRR, it will be on PS5 eventually. Sony usually do it step by step implementation on features.
Maybe this quarter users get VRR, next quarter users got External drive export support, and maybe on third quarter we will get Quick resume.
Apparently it takes way more time than people expect and Sony seems to avoid rushing it like Xbox Quick Resume which not quite fully functional right now.
Hell, Sony being very careful with backwards compatibility statement despite its performance wise so far, its pretty awesome

Major corporations need major sales to appear impressive to investors, and a year on year increase in revenue is unrealistically expected. Thus, half-baked + overly marketed products have become a standard thing.
