China's CCP currently spies, hacks, attacks and unapologetically steal the tech of its rivals. It is just common sense that you don't trust your network/security on companies that are indirectly owned by the CCP establishment (Huawei) or a company governed by CCP rules (ZTE).
As for the CCP supporting nerds here, the above Comments is why guys like you are losers and most societies does not give a s***t about your opinions. If you want 200mpx, 12GB Ram and 1TB ROM phone for cheap, there are hundreds of Chinese options like Xiaomi, oppo, vivo etc. You must not support the CCP project because you for some strange reason hate Apple and Trump.

What exactly did they copy from Apple ?
Let's not forget Nokia Lumia 920 had wireless charging and that was 2012. The first iPhones to have wireless charging was the 8 n X both of which came out in 2017

Thing that makes me laugh is. The Americans are quick to call Chinese products a threat but they they don't acknowledge their own products. Why doesn't America call Facebook a threat to the West ? .. It's only a matter of time until China will call it a day and don't want anything to do with America ( despite America owing China 19 trillion dollars). Good luck to Apple finding a country that will employ people due to cheap labour but advanced technology. The Japs won't allow it. The Koreans will laugh in their face
