This design is gonna be a nightmare for the case makers.
With camera glass that stretches to the edges we can forget about slim, aluminum and glass back cases.

AnonD-807890, 25 Nov 2020Resolution downgrade is likely due to permanent refresh rat... morePermanent 120Hz is a huge battery draining feature, especially if it's constantly being used on tasks that don't even need it, like watching videos in 24 to 60fps only.
The S20 series' solution is already very convenient, and all that's left for them to do is to enable 120Hz in 1440p mode for those that are willing to trade longer battery life for the best combo. It should be possible now with the new Exynos 2100 being as good, if not better than the Snapdragon 875, unlike this year's Exynos vs Snapdragon comparison.

Resolution downgrade is likely due to permanent refresh rate at 120hz, which is a win in my book. Not a deal-breaker by any means.
