For example, Samsung used poor quality AMOLED on the S20 FE despite the $600 price tag. Just go to official Samsung forum and you can see a long list of owners complaining about touchscreen problems on their S20 FE. Samsung pushed out 3 emergency updates and still failed to fix the problems, so it is a hardware deficiency not software.

Panel lifetime is short compared to higher end Oled panels.
Power consumption is higher than high end Lcd.
More chances of burn in and other issues.
