In the U. K. no network has EVER stocked a Realme phone. Therefore there is a complete lack of knowledge of their products. If nobody knows about their products, although available online, they will be simply ignored.

How do you think they end up successful in the first place?
Realme may turn up to be bad, who knows, but at least for now is something new in this boring market. Their UI looks clean and close to stock android (without animations/gimmicks and bloatware like Xiaomi UI or Samsung UI). They brought very fast charging at lower prices (Realme 7 Pro has 65W and it cost 300EUR). They brought high refresh rate at lower prices (the Realme 6, a 90Hz display phone, cost just 170EUR). Lower even than Xiaomi phones.
Maybe they do not have the brand name and trust like Samsung or Sony, but I see them like I saw One Plus couple of years ago. And that's a good thing for me.

It's only till people don't know what they are buying it will soar. Moment reality strikes to buyers they would know.
There are examples to learn from. Micromax was leader in Indian market and suddenly it lost everything. LeEco phones, Gionee phones all were doing great. But then their real strategy was exposed and where are they now? Though Micromax has just returned to market but then it is to be seen how it performs now.
Realme may end up like that, who knows ( if they continue with strategy of stealing the identity of other successful brands)

People will always find a way to complain about something. Lol.
Even if some company will release an almost perfect phone, some people will still complain it doesn't have, IP rating, or radio FM, headphones jack, it doesn't come in pink color, etc.
You can't get the perfect phone at 200-300EUR.
In the end, if you are not satisfy, do like I do, sell it and move on to the next model/company. Easy.

Cut it with your low qualit... moreNot only Apple. Samsung wants 1000EUR for Note 20. And I was holding both the Note 20 Ultra and Note 20 in my hands, you can feel the difference immediately. The Note 20 feels the same like any other 200-300EUR plastic back phone. The only downsize it cost 1000EUR. Lol.
So yeah, maybe all this 200-300EUR Realme phones have plastic backs, but they certainly do not feel cheap or have bad built for that price.

I have full 5G coverage for post/zip code.
However, a few street from my house the 5G coverage is zero.
Telcos are slow in rolling them out.

Blowing that little fan doesnt do much. On the 800u you just get poorer performance, thats why the temps are so low. It cant use more power.
On d1000+ you get 44°c but also near 60 fps. I couldnt find a 800u fps test, but its probably around 35-40. Rog phone 3 running same game as d1000+ got a few more average fps at same temps without fan.
800u is a decent midrange chipset, much better than 765g, but comparing to flagships is useless.
