That's a really really good design I must say. Looks much better on a larger scale than the S3 (whose looks I liked at 1st sight).
Just like the Galaxy Note & S2, there had to be much resemblance between the Note2 & S3. Besides, for people using a Galaxy Note already, a Note2 makes more sense than a S3.
Just like we had it last year with Note & S2, this year too the specs sheet for Note2 will largely resemble the S3's because that's the latest piece of hardware that Samsung has to offer (and trust me it blows the shit outta anything on a Smartphone ever).
PS: Having upgraded from a Galaxy S2 to S3, I really have felt the difference though you wouldn't find any while looking at their spec sheets. Personally, I really like this Note2 and sure as hell hope it doesn't end up as buggy as its predecessor. :)

I seriously hope that this is not Note 2 because it looks like an oversized S III. Never really cared of the S III design and now with big size, it looks even worse.

If this is real, then can we expect another galaxy release this fall?
the New iPhone will probably pack more processing power than this or the S3, and we cant wait a year for samsung to come with something to beat it.
Let hope for that new Exonys 5.
Resolution, well, we cant really expect full HD, but it would be a letdown if the display is enlarged from first note, but resolution stays the same... 5.3 is pretty large as it is, so its not cramped in any way, rather they made the unit smaller, if they dont update the resolution as well.

With the flexible screen, the screen can be closer to the edge of the phone and with Android 4.X no need to have a button at the front (even if Samsung insist to have the button, have it at the edge or at the back of the phone instead of crawding out the screen space)? I think Samsung should maxize the screen size and look like the picture posted on the Samsung Pakistan Facebook. Also improve the camera to 12 or 13mega pixel (nothing wrong with the current camera but it is nice to have an improvment)

Samsung must not.be serious.. Its just like s3 blow up image... I bet samsung force user to switch for 2012 line up ASAP. Maybe something bad will happen for 2011 devices.

I have to agree with you on this. I got the G-Note recently and really love it. I am not sure that I would upgrade for the specs that are being mooted. I may end up waiting for a G-note 3 where hopefully they might bring more innovation. Or otherwise see whether another competitor can bring out a good phablet with a lovely stylus in the meantime.

would really like to see 12mp on this phone. its been almost past a whole year an still using 8mp cams! wow i say! also if true 1.5 ram. ahh why 1.5 when the carrier verison of the gs3 has 2gigs of ram! but lets see wat the true specs are come the 29.
