JDK, 29 Nov 2020oh! I haven't heard anything about the huawei 20MP... moreThe pixel pitch of the new sensor is 1.6µm, so using that information you can calculate its exact sensor area. If you do the same for the old 40MP sensor as well then you should end up getting roughly the same area.

I hear you have to downgrade the EMUI but I don't THINK there's a way to do that on the Mate 40 series unless I'm proven wrong.

Why don't they focus in their subpar color science?
The hardware is great, the UI is usable the camera app lacks features and the color science is a lot worse than iPhones and Pixels and also Samsung.

Oh, yes, there are like 0.5% of all phones with a pop up, waw, so much choice.
Now find me one who combine :
Pop up camera with Flat display, 3.5mm Jack, underdisplay fingerprint scanner, high end chipset and 3D facial recognition (which only is rare because punch holes and notches literally aren't compatible with it, meaning with bezel and pop up there is no reasons no to put it).
THEN come gain saying how much choice we have while you have like 98% or more of the phones already without it.
And those are only the MAIN features I want, there are tons of other that without diversity aren't gonna also be on a phone type that represent just a dozen of models compared to countless other per years.
Also, if you knew what DIVERSITY meant, it would make sense to you.

The 40MP ultrawide was one of the key standout points of the mate, and now it's kinda loosing it.
