Lenovo, Meizu and nubia will also launch Snapdragon 888 phones soon

02 December 2020
As expected all Android makers are flocking to Qualcomm's latest flagship SoC.

Why did nubia not release sd865 successor to z20?

They just needed to have proper global software support (with guaranteed android version upgrades) and make the battery larger (from 4000 mah to 5000 mah) and I'll buy it

          What a weird name 888. I'll pass

What other chip did we expect them to use? It's not like Apple suddenly made their A-Series chips available for those vendors to use. Frankly I am having a hard time getting exited for those announcement After what Apple just shipped with the M1 and the A14 -Series chips.

All those brands aren't going to have US networks so... won't be waiting for those. There's only one flagship this year I'll be waiting for. If it falls, I'll stick with a mid-ranger or see if I can get the ROG 3 at a decent price.

At this point, better simply list the big brands who aren't going to launch a phone with the 888, because apparently everyone was invited to the party...
