Tomi, 15 Aug 2012Cheers dude, but how about getting payed apps from blackmar... moreThats when you run into having virus on your system, lets all put our heads together and make Google play a descent place with great apps, developers will be encouraged to make apps a priority when we support them, it doesn't cost any much than IOS apps to buy, and trust me with time as android has surpassed IOS user base, apps will become much cheaper than apps store on IOS. Stick to Google play for peace of mind because google has a robust system to check rogue apps now.

Tomi, 15 Aug 2012New to Android guys, just ordered my SGS3 ... do I need to ... moreYou don't need to install any of those softwares in it as a consumer end portable product (unlike PC)are already well equipped with full protection. You don't believe me, you can check in the user credential certificates in the setting. Because all portable device except PC have to have all these credential certicates pre-installed to a certain periods of time before it become expired

Tomi, 15 Aug 2012New to Android guys, just ordered my SGS3 ... do I need to ... moreNah, never used one before, never will. I think last time i read that there was 0.013% malware on android and most of the is people who sideload apps and not download them offical.

Its pretty simple when you install there is a list of things the app can access, if anything seems fishy then just dont install it. It is step up in a good way because if a developer as to access for exmaple you text massage then he must add it to the code and it will tell you this when you install it.

          Hope it helps.

The DoD uses a stripped version of Android 2.3 or something like that because it is safer than iOS. Wish I remembered where I read it.

TDMaster, 15 Aug 2012i wonder when HTC will release their version for Jelly bean... moreI have no clue when we will get it on our HTC one x.. however i've got to admit despite having a pessimistic approach at my one x at the beginning... the update that was released a few days ago (firmware 2.17) for the one x had made our phones so fluid, fast and responsive that i seriously wouldn't know what i would want to expect in a jelly bean update. At least they leave us with a bit of excitment despite not being here as fast as the sgs 3. I wish i had money to throw out the window, i'd have a sgs 3 and a one x. Both masterpieces in my opinion.
