So nobody sees the dual SIM option? How has this not been chalked up to a fake leak based on that alone. Zero chance there's dual SIMs on the next Pixel.

Anonymous, 04 Dec 2020Until the tech is ready, I'd much rather have a hole I... moreIf you want face recognition, you better want a bezel (Pixel 4/4XL) or a pop up (Find X), as ToF based facial recognition are inferior to Structured Light based facial recognition, which the dot projector take too much space to be put in a small notch or a double punch hole, and underdisplay facial recognition is an awful idea anyway.
Ultrasonic Underdisplay Fingerprint Scanner, if NOT implemented by Samsung would beat both optical and capacitive together in every aspect !

A little help as Google apparently forgot how to make phones :
Step 1 : Take the Pixel 4/4XL.
Step 2 : Take the top bezel slightly slimmer.
Step 3 : Keep the 3D facial recognition sensors but yeet that Soli horror.
Step 4 : Add a fingerprint scanner as it was supposed to have.
Step 5 : Keep the good camera code and upgrade the sensors, use such configuration :
A) Main sensor + Ultra-Wide + Periscope 5x+ Telephoto.
B) One single good main sensor.
C) One single good main sensor in a periscope allowing for zoom from Ultra-Wide to 5x+.
D) Good periscope zoom from Main to Ultra-Wide and another from Main to 10x Telephoto.
Camera sensor can still be in the 12Mp to 20Mp range without requiring to be half a million-year-old.
Step 6 : Ask the Meizu 17 designer about the camera layout, as it look quite good.
Step 7 : Keep that damn 3.5mm Jack on the phone !!!
Step 8 : Make an affordable version with middle-range SoC and a high-end version with high-end SoC.
Step 9 : 240 FPS is cute, just go ahead and ask Huawei for help.
Step 10 : Dual band SatNav, as the Pixel 5 don't have it apparently...?
Step 11 : No need to make supra thin devices, 8mm is too slim, just make it thicker until you reach 5Ah or 6Ah battery, should be around 9.5mm.
Step 12 : Profit, except if you make bad software of course.
