For most users, the differences will hardly even be visible. You are all blinded by geekbench and antutu scores.

Opinion from China
1.Best phone:Gsamarena missing lots of good options,like P40P+,Mate40P+&Porsche design version,Mi10Ultra...
Personally,i will choose from Mate40p+ and mi10ultra,for both good performance,best camera,good screen.Mi10Ultra have superfast charging(120W) while Mate 40P+ have IP68 rating.
2.Best phone but not that heavy:yeah,yeah,both Mate40P+ and Mi10Ultra are 220g+ phone,so do S20Ultra and iPhone 12Pro Max.Those Ultra/Pro+ phone are way too heavy in some situation.What I think about is some flagship are not that heavy,weight between 180g to 200g but have most Ultra phone should have.
In that situation,I choose the Find X2P,it weight at 200g,good back design,best level main camera,good telephoto lens and ultra wide(although not as good as Mi10U's and Mate40P+'s),65w charging is fast enough(that is why I dont chooss Galaxy S20+，Oneplus 8Pro and iPhone 12Pro).The QHD 120Hz Amoled Screen is even better than Samsung's own one.
3.Best camera at 2020:Yes,still Mi10Ultra and Mate 40P+.The 5tims optical telephoto lens and 2times portrait lens on Mi10Ultra is more useful in normal situation and main camera color is better.Mate40P+ have better ultra wide lens.
4.Best video record phone:definetly,iPhone 12Pro Max.Although currently Android flagship improve a lot in photo,for video recording,iPhone still better and the Pro Max version is the best one.
5.Best flagship killer:Phone price in Europe,in US and in China are different,so basically,in China,the K30S(Mi10T for global)is the best flagship killer.The high refresh rate LCD panal is good(you dont need worry about burn-in problem and spend lots of money to replace it),Sn865 is enough for next 2-3 years daily use and gaming.The 5000mah giant battary can last for a day even you heavily use it.The camera is not as good as Mi10T Pro and S20FE,but for a flagship killer(I still think it is somehow a 'budget phone',since you just want to pay the lowest price for a phone which use flagship standard chip),it is OK.
6.Best gaming phone:For gaming,I will simply choose the K30S or other 'budget'phone with Sn865 like IQOO Neo3 and Realme X50Pro player edition.The only thing important is Sn865 and good cooling system.Another choice is iPad 5Mini,I know it is a iPad instead a phone,but it is currently the best IOS system gaming platform
If you really need I chosen from what you listed(or pure gaming phone),I think Blackshark 3Pro is the best.
7.Best afforadble 5G phone:Mi10T Lite(Redmi Note9 Pro 5G in China),no argue,it is the best,a beast in that price,killing all stupid Samsung phone with Sn750G/Exynos 980 at once.

Mid ranger Redmi Note 9 Pro, Max, 9s should be under the same model. Gsmarena should pick more mid ranger phones. They are others like Realme 7 too.

The Galaxy S20 FE (5G because exynos is c*rap) is not the 2020 "flagship killa", The Poco F2 Pro is. You can buy it for half the cost of the FE, 350. You get Snap865, Amoled all screen, UFS 3.1, decent cameras, wifi 6, NFC, IR port, big battery, fast charging. You can buy 2 Poco F2 Pro for the price of 1 S20 FE lol. That is a steal.
PS: If you can find the K30 Pro Zoom for around the same price as the Poco, buy it. It's the same phone but with OIS in the cameras = better shots and videos.

When i realized that Samsung S20FE leading as the best flagship killer (sorry my first comment was a mistake) i totally think that was a seriously great joke for some country that got the "Exynos" variant🤣, come on, ppl voted it for throttling n overheating🤦♂️

The fact the LG Wing, which is a phone with a pop up selfie camera and other mobile parts, just destroyed the ZTE Axon 20 5G, which is the first phone with an underdisplay camera, made me have a nerdgasm :D

When i realized that Samsung S20FE leading fpr the best budget phone, i totally think it was definitely a great joke for some country that get an Exynos variant. Seriously. Throttling n bottlenecking every where n people vote it🤦♂️

Where is Redmagic 5S, the 5S is definitely best gaming phone in practical. It doesn't need an extra-gimmick external cooler to run Genshin Impact or even other game easily with very minim throttling, the internal cooling system is totally best of 2020, that's what a gaming phone should be, a whole package in a handset, definitely an upgrade from the RM 5G n should be nominated! Phoenikkk, 06 Dec 2020Based on reviews and experience and then fanboyism for xiaomi :) You mean Samsung. Each year they win. And certainly not because they are the best, just because the people know the brand name more.
But anyway, this year is not good poll. The Exynos 990 variant is far worse than the SD865 variant. Should have been a clear differentiate option in the poll for this. Exynos 990 is just a little better than the SD855+ from 2019.

Straight away you can discount any phone that doesn't have a headphone jack or micro SD support. No phone missing such useful features could possibly be considered "best"

voted for xperia 1 ii because i bought it...
voted for asus zenfone 7 pro because i liked the posted camera samples...
voted for lg wing since i was really hyped by it, and with such design i never thought i have been doing things on my phone that is better done on the wing - jumping through video scenes, watching and texting and the gimbal mode is great... i might get one after 2 years, 1 ii is not cheap that i cannot get another phone next year
